Kayleighs POV

Pain.

That's all I felt.

I lay in bed, dreading the thoughts of getting up and carrying on as if this was a normal day, when it really wasn't. My heart ached inside my chest as my mind swirled with images. Beautiful images but ones that hurt too much.

Once I found the strength to get up, I did and quickly made my way to the shower, spending another hour in there, desperately trying to think of something else and how I'm gonna walk past the people downstairs without putting a bullet through their heads.

After getting ready and putting my hair in two boxer braids, I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where a couple of the guys were. I completely ignored their morning greeting as I grabbed an apple and sat down at the island.

I took slow bites out of it as I flicked through my phone, mainly to distract myself from their questioning gazes.

"We were thinking about doing something fun today, ya know, like go to the cinema or paintballing for a change, what do ya think Kay?" Matt asked.

"I don't wanna go anywhere so ye can go wherever ye want, I honestly couldn't give two fucks" I deadpanned as I threw my apple core in the bin from my seat, not glancing up once.

"Awesome, how about we hit the pub too and get wasted and high off of some cheap shit that's sold behind the dumpster" Cameron said sarcastically.

"Whatever floats your boat, go to Flicks, your guaranteed death by the shit they sell" I muttered. They went dead silent. Until my phone was snatched roughly from my hands and I no longer had that distraction to hide behind.

I looked up at the culprit and met my twin's intense stare. I squinted my eyes and glared darkly at him which cause him to shift in his position.

"Give me my phone back" I whispered slowly. He gulped and turned his head away from from me to look at someone.

"Kayleigh" I snapped my head to the voice who dare speak my name so harshly and sure enough Aiden was the man to find. Once he met my gaze he looked confused until realisation dawned on his face, then he was alarmed.

"Cameron give her the phone" He said quickly, not looking away from my murderous glare. I could feel my jaw ticking while my hands twitched on the counter.

"Holy fuck" someone whispered.

Cameron slowly slid the phone in front of me. I grabbed it and stood up, walking towards the door with determination. But Aiden was quick to stop me. He leaned down to my ear and whispered dangerously.

"You are not leaving this house and we both know why" He pulled back and looked at me confidently as I dropped my glare. I felt my insides shake as I tried to resist the Temptation. My blood was boiling from built up anger as it always does on this day. Without thinking twice, I grabbed him by the hair and smashed his head against the door frame, earning yells from the guys behind me. Aiden hissed in pain and I brought his head down to mine.

"Don't get in my way again, I'm still your leader and don't you forget it" I spat before shoving him away. I was about to leave again seeing as he was on the floor but someone else had the nerve to stop me. But I didn't have the nerve to hurt them.

"Kayleigh, what's going on with you?" G asked, his tone completely serious. I stared at his eyes. That's all I did. Stare straight into his eyes, the ones they shared.
