"Welcome to Nanba Prison Ms.(Y/L/N). I hope you enjoy your stay here. I'm afraid it's a long one." Sargent Davison says in a hushed tone as the helicopter touches the ground.
"Stop moping Larry." I sigh and place my cuffed hand on his shoulder. "You couldn't have stalled my transfer any longer. I don't blame you for this. Stop beating yourself up over someone else's mistake. I'll be out of here soon enough and back to causing trouble in no time."
"I'm not so sure Mis. Murder is a long sentence. Man Slaughter even longer."
"True. But I know that you and your team can prove I'm innocent. All you need is a little time to do it."
Larry gives me a small smile before he open the door and helps me out. As we approach a large line of people I see only one woman. And she seem to be the one in charge.
"Ms. Hyakushiki." Larry bows respectfully and I fallow his actions. "I have here (Y/N) (Y/L/N) otherwise know as prisoner number 96."
"I don't believe I was informed of 96 being a woman. Or what here crimes are." The Warden says in an intimidating tone. But something tells me she isn't as scary as she tries to be.
"I was charged with Man Slaughter ma'am." I say in a small voice. One that is almost foreign to me.
"I see." She narrows her gaze at me. "We'll take it from here Sargent Davison."
Larry nods at her and turns to uncuff me. All the while whispering in my ear. "Good luck kid."
Only once Larry was back in the helicopter and far from sight did any of the guards look at me. And most looked as confused as I did when I learned of where I was going to be serving out my sentence.
"So... What now? I'm kinda new to this whole prison thing." I tilt my head to the side and look up at the Warden.
"Supervisor Sugoroku." Hyakushiki says and closes her eyes. Trying to keep her composure.
"Ma'am."
"Ready cell 13 while I speak with
Ms.(Y/L/N). We won't be long.""Yes ma'am."
And with that I am fallowing the Warden to HQ for what I can only assume will be an interrogation. How fun. But it seems that all the guards fear her quite a bit. But I suspect that she can kind and adorable when she wants to be.
'She puts up a front so people will respect her and do as she says without question. I know what that's like. But why do I feel like she doesn't want to always be cold to others. Perhaps she is just awkward and has a hard time showing how she truly feels? It's hard to say. But I'll know soon enough. Let the games begin.' I smirk to myself as the doors close behind us.
