“Ahhh! Itaewon freedom!” Taehyung exclaimed excitedly raising his arms wide open. He turned to look at Jungkook, displaying his rectangular grin. “Isn’t it refreshing to go out without a manager? Even if we have Mr. Cameraman recording everything… Still!”

Taehyung was so excited about this day out with his band mates that he had planned their  itinerary in one go. It was a shame though that Jimin couldn’t come with them – something about a personal matter that needed to be attended to.

“If we get in trouble we don’t have anyone to rescue us, though.” Jungkook answered simply, concentrating on his camera angling as he tried to capture the sights, the sounds, and his band members.

“We don’t need them to rescue us! Besides! I have the two of you – two of the strongest members of Bangtan! Yoonsoo hyung also promised to play bodyguard today, remember?”

Jungkook shifted the camera’s field of vision to the shorter man who was stalking the group’s right flank, methodically scanning the crowds and the path they were following. “Hyung! How’s the dare going? Debaek! You really look like a professional security personnel!”

“Everything’s going smoothly, Seonsaengnim! No threats so far, although one can never tell what would happen especially with global idols like you and Kim Seonsaengnim over there.”

“Why is it that out of all the people here you look like the most suspecious one?” Taehyung called back to his companions trying to rile up their bodyguard for the day. He couldn’t believe that Yoonsoo actually borrowed a standar issue black security jacket for today’s trip. Yoonsoo also chose indescript clothes despite Taehyung’s instructions to dress up. Taehyung hadn’t expected the older member to take the dare so seriously. But then, again… Yoonsoo did look like he was more in his element wearing that jacket than being on stage with them.

“I don’t look suspecious, Seonsaengnim. I’m the opposite - I blend in to better serve my purpose. You even lost track of me a few times earlier today but have no fear! I’m always monitoring the situation, Seonsaengnim.” Yoonsoo calmly replied as he continued scanning the people their little group encountered.

“What should we do first?” Jungkook inquired of Taehyung. “Should we look around first or go for food first?”

“Bodyguard-ssi! Didn’t you say you were from Itaewon? And I overhead you and Joonie talking about your favorite ramen shop. I wanna go there!”

“Let me see the schedule you made. I’m not taking you there if its not in the schedule!” Yoonsoo quickly grabbed the piece of paper that Taehyung had been folding and unfolding. It was bad enough that the boys chose to go galavanting in Itaewon. Taehyung just had to hear about that damned noodle shop. Too close to home. They were dangerously too close to the truths that Yoonsoo had been hiding.

Taehyung smugly watched his hyung read through the hand-written schedule. He caught the exact moment Yoonsoo’s eyes widened – a sign that Taehyung’s request was a legitimate one. Taehyung, grinning, bent over the shorter man and slung an arm around his neck. “No take backs! You said you’d bring us to wherever if it was in the schedule!”

“Araseo. Fine. But let’s go there after everything else. It’s not a great place so you have to be starving to appreciate the food.”

“We’re not after the food anyway. I wanna go to the places you’ve been before you came to us.”

“Wae!?” Yoonsoo could feel the stress-induced-redness he always got when nervous creeping up his neck. He though the boys wanted to explore the international community of Itaewon but Taehyung planned the excursion to uncover Yoonsoo’s past. This trip was quickly becoming a game of Bullshit*.
