Ch.7

A/N- this is Piper's date

-Piper's POV-

Me and Jason got into his car and he started driving in a direction that I thought led to town.

"So where are we going?" I asked

""Well I thought we would go get dinner and then maybe see a movie." he said. Great classic, not creative and totally Jason. Stop complaining piper! I thought, he's trying the best he can. We stopped at a Italian restaurant. He ordered the spaghetti and I ordered ravioli. We mostly sat in a slightly awkward silence, with questions like "how do you like school" and "what do you think of the weather" don't get me wrong I'm not giving up on him yet because I knew we were both better than this but I mean, really. He was supposed to make this date special enough to make up for being a jerk lately. And so far all I could think was, this better be a really good movie. After that we went to see the movie Winter Solider which was good but this was supposed to be a romantic date and that was an action movie. We drove back and it turned out that we had only been gone for 2 and a half hours.

"Wow time flys when your having fun." Jason said lamely.

"Yeah." I said halfheartedly, what I was thinking was, did he really think that was a long date? Then he hugged me and left. Wow I thought even on a short date you'd expect you boyfriend to at least kiss you once, but nooo I got. A hug. j sighed and went to the living room to watch T.V.

-Jason POV-

Well I tried, but I still wouldn't be surprised if Piper broke up with me right now. I thought this would be a good date I mean getting dinner is a good date idea, and so is a movie so together I did twice as good. But the whole thing was awkward. I tried to make conversation but Piper seemed like she was looking for something else .I mean she knew that i loved her so I didn't think it was necessary to tell her over and over again. Wait that was it with all of our little fights she might be unsure I had to tell her I loved her. I jumped up and rushed downstairs but as I got their Percy and Annabeth came through the door Annabeth laughing at something Percy had probably said. Everybody looked at them and said hi since they were already down here playing cards. Annabeth then held out her hand. It had a ring on it!

"It's a promise ring Percy promised to love me forever." Annabeth said beaming at Percy. Wow I thought a promise ring, that would have been the most perfect thing to get Piper. And out of all of us Percy and Annabeth were the ones who didn't need a ring, everyone knew they would never break up. Now if I told Piper I loved her she would just be because I got reminded and felt bad for not getting her a ring. So I just walked up the stairs.

-Piper's POV-

Wow a promise ring. That was exactly what I needed. I needed to know that Jason still loved me and would keep on loving me. He could have at least said he loved me because after that date I really wasn't "feeling the love".
I mean seriously was I going to have buy the my own ring? I seriously needed to talk about this. I used the intercom to call all the other girls to the lady cave. Once we were all there I asked them if they wanted to have a sleepover tonight since it was still pretty early, they of course said yes and we all went down stairs to get ice-cream and stuff. When we were there we decided to start with a game of truth or dare. Thalia started

"Calypso t or d" Thalia said

" hmm truth."

"What do you like most and least about Leo?"

"Most- his sense of humor and least- his lack of gardening skills. I mean seriously he sucks, he even burned my favorite rose bush." calypso said

"Okay now it's my turn. Umm Piper truth or dare." Calypso said. Crap me. Feeling rebellious I said dare.

" I dare you to go to school tomorrow wearing whatever your mom picks out." she said. Oh no, all the sudden the air smelled like perfume and everything was tinged pink. Then BAM Aphrodite was there.

"Oh thank you so much, I'm going to have so much fun." The goddess said

"Whatever" I said "It's my turn, Reyna truth or dare."

"Um, truth." she said. Great there were so many things I wanted to ask her about Jason.

"Did you and Jason ever kiss?" I asked hoping the answer was no.

"Yes once right after the Kronos war, but he doesn't remember, I think the gods hid that memory because it would confuse him." Reyna said. Well that was demoralizing. I wasn't his first kiss and at this point I might not even be his last.

"Hazel truth or dare?" Reyna said.

"Dare" Hazel said determinedly

"I dare you to wear a dress tomorrow and let me do your hair and makeup." said Reyna

"Fine. Annabeth truth or dare." Hazel said.

" Dare"

"I dare you to go jump in the pool."

"Okay" Annabeth said and we watched from the window as she jumped in and got out shivering. But then Percy came running out, and he saw Annabeth and immediately dried her off. Annabeth just smiled up at us and went back into the house a few seconds later she was coming through the door.

"Perks of dating posiden's son." she said cheerily. After a couple more rounds we decided to watch
Bring it on which was an AWSOME cheerleading movie.

"You know, we should all try out for cheerleading. Without the monsters and you know saving the world, we do have some spare time." I said

"You're right and we have as good a chance as anybody else maybe more since we are all really flexible and super fit." Hazel said. So we all agreed to try out in a week and a half.
