When I see that word or hear I think of The twelve Olympians.
(Minor gods as well)
No. Scratch that. The 12 jerks who sit on their thrones and thinking about Falling in love with Mortals.
(He or she)
Then they end up with Sons or Daughters whose lives have changed cause they are demigods, and now have the misfortune of being Tracked down, (Aka by monstors) killed, or feared by their mortal families.
(It sometimes happens not all the time)
On top of that the godly parents abandon them leaving the person they fell in love with(mortal male/female)with a child (boy/girl). When they have a worst case of ADHD and Dyslexia. Depending on the godly parent, I think it gets worse?
Wait! Hold on . . . It DOES get worse.
The more powerfull the godly parent is the more danger their in. Then, they are split into two groups.
Greeks and Romans.
They used to be enemies but now there kind of like buddies.
*sigh*
I just wonder if they are ever going to change.
The Olympians
(3rd POV)
Olypmpus a place where gods such as the Olympians and Minor gods live.
Zeus was sitting on his throne with his thunder bolt in his left hand, he had a hard time concentrating, he squinted his eyes and licked his lips glancing at Hades who is on the othor side of the table smirking at him.
"C'mon. Make your move"
Hades said nagging him for the millionth time.
"I know. I know. stop nagging me it's annoying"
"What's annoying? Me winning?"
Zeus ignored that comment and moved his rook foward to attacking the Hades's King.
"Checkmate." Zues smriked
"Who is the winner now."
Hades sighed in deafeat.
The two gods were playing a mortal game of chess. They enjoy it, it helps the get past an Extra thousands of years without worrying about the next problem or up comming war.
(Not like there has been a prophecy since the ware with Geae.)
Zeus found this game quiet fun, it is one thing that he is actually good at. As well as being the Ruler of Olympus ofcourse. So its two things that he is actually good at and that's pretty much about it.
Zeus smiled. Ever since the war with Gaea Hades and Zeus have been quite close.
"Well you still haven't beaten me yet." Athena walked in. She looked at the board game and looked at Zeus.
"I'm actually still suprised that your actually good at this game. You actually know how to use your head."
Zeus waved her away.
"Think what you want to think. I won fair and square."
Athena just scoffed playfully and went on her throne.
She sat down and crossed her legs her hand on her Chin.
"Weren't we supposed to have a meeting of some sort." She asked as Hades snapped his fingers, the chess board and the table Disappeared.
He went to his Throne as well.
"Yes. I am excited for the information you have to share to us." Hades smiled.
Zeus straightened up on his throne.
"We have to wait Until Everyone shows up. Besides it is Poseidon's Idea."
In A flash Everyone was there on there thrones. Including Poseidon.
Well that was fast. Hades thought.
The Olympians were talking and chatting and saying Hello. Zeus looked at Poseidon and Poseidon nodded his head.
"Every one Quiet down"
The voices quieted down untill no one was talking.
Everyone looked at Zeus and he noded his head again towards Poseidon.
Zeus stood up.
"You all know that Poseidon and I have something important to say."
He paused for a seccond.
"It has been over 10,000 years since the war with Geae and things have been going rather . . . Slow, and We haven't been the best godly parents to our children. Since the war with Geae there have not been any sighting of Monster attacks or quests and Prophecies and all that Jazz."
He let it sink in.
"You also know of how our children desire a normal life and to live like normal mortal teens. So I-I mean we decided to answer our Children's uh . . Requests on that matter."
"What is that supposed to mean exactly" Athena asked confused.
"Allow me to explain" Poseidon said as he stood up he had a small smile on his face.
"Lets Enroll our kids into a highschool"
