After I thought long and hard about everything, I went to go find Lee so he could take me home and I could sleep all this off and just focus on school tomorrow.
And just my luck; instead of finding Lee, I ran into Noah as I came around a corner. I froze and I could feel my cheeks burn so I subtly looked down, avoiding any eye contact. Then I quickly turned around.

"Elle wait, please" he slightly begged, grabbing my wrist.
I stopped in my tracks, not daring to look back. My breath caught once again and my heart picked up speed.

"Elle...please look at me. I think we need to talk"

I paused for a moment
"Noah, let me go...please. I need to find Lee, I have to go home now" I looked over my shoulder.

"Actually that's what I needed to tell you...well, one of the things, but Lee told me to take you home because he got caught up with that girl"

I mentally face palmed. Are you kidding me? Still holding my wrist, I turned around and loosely pulled my hand away.
He looked almost disappointed.
There was no way I could do this. I wasn't mentally stable for this.

"Well...thanks but I can walk" I said right before I started running away.
I only got about 15 feet away before I felt myself levitate off the ground. A gave out an unintentional squeak.
Noah grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder.

"Noah!" I growled, trying to wiggle my way out, but his grip was too strong. I knew it was stupid to try.

"Shelly, why must you be so difficult? You're only making things harder on yourself"

"Noah, I'm serious, put me down. This is kidnapping!"

"Don't be so dramatic" he retorted.

I huffed and after about a minute, he put me down and we were in the parking lot next to his motorcycle. The lot was almost empty, no one in sight, and the crickets of the night somehow made it quieter.
I crossed my arms.

"I told you I could walk" I avoided eye contact.

He took me by surprise when he took a step closer and said, "And I want you here with me"

My heart skipped a beat and I swallowed my words.

"Please Elle, I'm begging you. Just get on" he said in a low voice, his eyes looked pleading.

How was I supposed to reject that? As much as I wanted to, I couldn't bring myself to do it. No matter how much I disliked that motorcycle as well.

"Fine", I sighed, "but drive slow"

He gave a cute, small smile and nodded. He got on and started it up, then gave me a helmet.

"Hop on" he smirked.

I smuggled a smile and got on. I hesitantly wrapped my arms around his waist and as soon as the motorcycle moved I unintentionally held onto Noah tighter. I felt him tense up a bit but relax immediately after.
Then after about twenty minutes of driving, I realized that being this close to him gave me a whole bunch of stupid warm fuzzies. He was warm, and he smelled nice. I wondered if he could feel my heart beating from me being so tightly pressed against his back. I didn't wanna think this way...but I couldn't help myself.
I like Noah, maybe even love...I've already faced that, and I'm working on it. I know the possibility of us being together would be- problematic. Although-

"Uh oh"
"What? What 'uh oh'?" I asked concerned.

"I'm out of gas" he said as we started to slow down.

Shit. Are you kidding me? Right now? Not only am a stick here with Noah but my dad will kill me if I'm not home on time and my phone is about to die.
Noah pulled to the side and we both got off.

"Great, What the hell are we gonna do now?" I asked.

"Well, looks like our only option is to walk. I know where we are, it's about a fifteen minute walk from here to your house I'd say" he informed me.

I gave a small nod and he started pushing his bike.
Just fantastic! Now I'm stuck...alone...with Noah, for 15 minutes of walking together.
How will I survive this?
