Author's note!
PLEASE READ THE FIRST 3 CHAPTERS OF THE STORY!
I don't know why some of you are only reading the "Hikaru's Thoughts" parts. This book doesn't involve one shots. I worked really hard on those first 3 chapters so I think they deserve a read.
I'm not trying to be rude, I just want to make sure you get as much of the story for it to make sense and be a story.
Anyways, on with the story! ~

Monday Afternoon:
Today was the day we got to hear [Y/N]'s wrong answer! It was the last class once again. Class didn't start yet so we went up to [Y/N]'s desk. S(he) looked up at us from the desk and said,"Yes?"
"Meet us at the outside hallway near the fountain, after class." We said together.
"...Okay." was all s(he) said.
Kaoru and I went back to our seats beacuse class started.
Kaoru and I had an idea. We were going to trick her(him). This is what we always did. When girls show interest, we mix things up. We didn't like getting bored. Since she wasn't romantically into us, we needed to switch it up. It was all the same. No turning back now.

Class was over and we wanted to be the firsts to leave. We switched which way our hair parted and our sitting arrangement so she couldn't tell. S(he) made your way to the meeting place.
"Took em' long enough." I thought to myself.
There s(he) was, standing before us. It was time for a show.
"[Y/N]..." Kaoru called to her(him). S(he) was taken aback by him. S(he) blushed a bit. Kaoru pulled his hair right and I pulled my to the left to trick her. Before it was vice versa.
In unison we said, "Which one is Hikaru?"
S(he) just smirked and pointed to me. I was on the left of Kaoru.
"You're Hikaru!" S(he) said in confidence.
I didn't want her to guess right so I lied. That's how our plans always work. "You're wrong." I said.
We did this with every girl who tried to confess their love, or well in this case, friendship. But whatever. Same thing. This was the part where they girl would get oh so sorry for getting it wrong and then we'd get a chance to make them feel worse by making them regret it.
"What kind of person--" we started to diss her(him), only to be cut off by [Y/N].
Her(His) voice was stern and serious, "No. I'm not. I'm not wrong. I know you're lying Hikaru. I know how it works."
Kaoru spoke up, "How?"
"It's hard to explain. I can just tell." [Y/N] smirked.
How could she have possibly known?! What did s(he) mean s(he) 'knew how it worked'?!
S(he) was supposed to be in tears by now. This was different. We never got an answer like that before. Ugh. Well, whatever. Guess we have a friend now.
