Tony's POV

I had track again after school. We are getting ready for a race against another school. I was really glad that I was one of the slowest people there, because it meant that I started off the race- the race was a relay- and then got to stop one I had ran my bit, rather than waiting at a spot on a field waiting for someone to come. I got it over and done with quickly.

When I lined up to start us off, thats when all the girls lined up to watch mr perfect run. It put me off and when I started to run, because of this, I fell over. They all started to laugh and I threw the batton onto the ground, before storming off to my car. I banged my head on the steering wheel making a loud  honk. Then I was startled by a knock on my window. I looked up to see Rogers covering his ears. His hands dropped when the noise had stopped.

I rolled my window down and looked at him.

"Is everything okay? That was... quite a fall." I started to roll my window back up but the idiot stuck his hand in the way.

"Move it or lose it." I said. He looked at me for a moment, then I started to move it up again. His hand moved out of the way quickly. But the stupidity continued to happen. He climbed into my car.

"Tony, I am trying to help you. Please let me" He said.

"And why should I help you?" My chest felt very tight. My jaw clenched. I couldn't breathe. "All you do is bring fangirls to laugh at me!" Tears started to fall down my face. I gripped onto the steering wheel. All I was thinking was 'I have to get out of here.' My foot slammed onto the accelerator and we were off. I was speeding and I knew I was.

"Tony. Tony slow down!" Steve grabbed my shoulder. It didn't help though. I couldn't stop. "Tony!" He yelled.

He sat back and put his seat belt on. I was scaring him. I was scaring myself. I hadn't had one of these attacks in a long time, I usually have them under control.

Steve's POV

He was speeding down the road. If he kept doing this then we would have cops chasing us very soon. I don't know what is going through his head. Whether this is an anxiety attack or just him running away. I had heard from Bruce that Tony had massive anxiety attacks. He doesn't have them often but when he does they are big erruptions. Tony's cheeks were being stained with tears. His eyes had become puffy. His breathing... That couldn't even be classed as breathing. It was going in and out so fast, I doubt that any air was reaching his lungs. At that rate, he would pass out. I had to calm him down quickly.

The only problem was... I didn't know how to do that. I thought about Tony. He liked a lot of ACDC. I always saw him wearing the band merchendise and he had told me through the texts. What's an ACDC song that I know?

"Living easy, living free, season ticket to a one way ride. Asking nothing, leave me be, taking everything in my stride."  I sang. He looked at me, taking his eyes off the road. "Don't need reason, don't need rhyme, ain't nothing I would rather do. Going down, party time, my friends are gonna be there too." It worked. He pulled up the car at the side of the road.

"Highway to Hell?" Tony asked. Steve nodded.

"It is one of your favourite songs right?"

"You sing it badly." He let out a bit of a laugh. His hand going over his face.

"Well, I am not a professional singer. I don't want to be either." I said. And then a smile grew on his face.

"So, you're not so perfect after all."

"Let me take over driving, I wanna make sure you get home safely. And we have an assignment to do." I said. He nodded and climbed out of the car. Given that he had just had an anxiety attack, it was good to know he still had a smart head on his shoulders.
