No one's POV
The chemistry lesson was very awkward Tony had asked 'Mr Right' who he was, but he got no reply. He really hoped it wasn't someone he disliked. He sat on his chair and Steve Rogers walked in. Tony believed that it was stupid that Steve's last name was Rogers, because it meant that he was sitting next to Tony for every lesson.
Tony's POV
I looked at my phone. Mr Right still hadn't texted me since I asked who he was. He will still show himself today. We made a deal and frankly, I am not backing down from this promise.
Throughout most of the lesson, he hadn't shown himself and then Rogers leaned in close to me.
"Keep your friends rich, and your enemies' rich, and wait to find out which is which." He whispered. My eyes widened as my worst nightmare had come true. It could have been anyone. But it wasn't just anyone. It was stupid Mr Perfect. That means I have to bring him to my home. It's times like this that I really hate my life.
"Mr Right..." I scoffed. I went into my phone and changed the contact name from Mr Right to his name. I couldn't be bothered to come up with some fancy name for him on my contact list; he didn't deserve me using that much brain power.
The science teacher, Mr Strange, set the assignment like I knew he would. Together, we had to work out a method to be able to prove the statement 'A ball which has absorbed water will bounce higher than a ball with none' either right or wrong. I don't think we have to test our method at home, because if we did I would not be very happy. I am not happy anyway.
A load of girls, and even some males, came up to Steve when Mr Strange said we could choose our own partners. He looked at them and I frowned watching what he did. That used to me having everyone around them wanting to be their partner. I know that had nothing to do with my looks and was all to do with my brain, but still- it was kind of nice. But then Mr Muscle shows up and takes it all away from me. He's not even that smart. He's only just passing.
"I'm sorry, guys. I promised Tony that I would be his partner for this assignment." I scoffed hearing that. A load of people shot me glares. I used to be popular. Now I'm hated. And it is all because of him.
Steve's POV
Tony really hated me, and that hurt after all of the texting we had done. I thought texting him with an unknown identity would prove that he didn't hate me after all. It just made things worse. I think I understand why he hates me now though. Tony likes to be alone- I understand that from how he is at lunch time- but I bring with me a crowd of people with me where ever I go.
