Tony's POV

I sat in the bathroom dialing Bruce's number. The phone went straight to my ear and I waited eagerly for him to pick up. Steve was in my room right now looking over the hypothesis.

"Hey, Tony." Bruce said. He sounded like he was out.

"I had an anxiety attack." I said so casually. Bruce stopped walking, I could tell.

"Oh my God, are you alright? What happened?" He asked. I laughed a little.

"I'm fine. I fell over at track and they were all laughing at me, then Steve wouldn't leave me alone."

"You're calling him Steve now?  Not 'Rogers' or 'Mr perfect' or anything stupid like that?" He asked me. He was walking again.

"Well, he calmed me down and drove me home. He's sat in my room right now." I could hear the mocking tone in Bruce's next sentence.

"Ah well, I wonder what he is doing in there." I shudder. I could hear the smirk on his face.

"Anyway, just thought I'd tell you I had an attack. I know you log when I have them."

"Yeah. Have fun with Steve." That smirk is awful. I hang up the phone and hear knocking on the bathroom door.

"Tony, are you done?  I need to use the bathroom."

I opened the door and walked past him, apologising. The work he had done on the hypothesis was like he didn't even need my help. I was reading over it when he came back in the room.

"I hope you washed your hands."

"Of course I washed my hands." He said. He walked over to me and checked my temperature. "How are you feeling."

"Just dandy." I said. I tweaked a few words in Steve's method to make it seem more intellectually challenging, but other than a few moderations to the actual method- Steve had made a solid piece of work. "I guess we're done here."

"Well... It would be nice if I could have a lift home."

"You want to leave so soon?" I ask. I kind of didn't want him to go. "You could...stay the night if you wanted to." I looked up at Steve.

"In case you have another anxiety attack?" He asked. I nodded. "Do you have a spare bed?"

"No, but we could share a bed..."I don't know what I was thinking. Steve looked at me and then shrugged.

"Sure." He said.

I curled up on the bed, holding one of the pillows to my chest. Steve was next to me, but he was asleep. I couldn't  really breathe, but I wasn't going to wake Steve up. All he would do is sing to me again. I squeezed the pillow tightly. I rolled over and fell straight off the bed. That definately woke up Steve. He sat up and looked at me.

"Tony?" He asked. I couldn't answer. I curled up tightly on the floor. Steve picked up his phone quickly and texted someone before throwing his phone on the bed somewhere and picking me up. My body tensed. I don't want to be touched. I don't like it. Steve started to stroke my hair. That was kind of soothing. I felt my body relax. "Are you alright?" I nodded in response.
