(Damia's POV)

Of all the places that Grayson had to get shot in, this is by far the worst, I thought as I carried an unconscious 9-year-old Richelle Grayson in my arms while running across the sands of a Qurac desert. I was searching for Grandfather's hideout.

I heard a small cough. I looked down at Grayson's sleeping form. Her eyelids fluttered, revealing half of her sky blue eyes. "D-Damia, I d-don't f-f-feel so good," Grayson whispered. Her face was a deathly pale; she was losing lots of blood, and the shirt I used as a bandage was not working well. But I could not fret about that. I had to stay strong, for Grayson's sake.

"Do not talk much, Grayson," I said softly, "you have already been weakened by loss of blood. Save your energy so you can stay awake." I hope she can stay awake long enough for me to find assistance. Grayson moaned in pain. "It will be okay, Grayson. We will arrive at Grandfather's hideout soon," I said, but I am not sure if I said that to reassure Grayson or myself.

(Timber's POV)

If us Bats have hidden superpowers, then my power must be knowing when my siblings are hurt or in danger. I sat at the Bat-Computer, a map of Qurac on the screen. Damia and Dixie's signals were moving fast across the screen. Why are Demon Spawn and Dixie-bird in Qurac? I thought.

I opened my communicator and called Renegade's communicator. The signals stopped moving. Renegade's face appeared on my communicator. "What do you want, Drake? I do not have a lot of time so make it quick," she said. "Why are you in Qurac?" I asked. "Where's Dixie?"

"Me and Grayson were stopping a drug trade in Qurac. Grayson was shot during the fight." Oh my God, Dixie been shot! "Why didn't you alert one of us, Demon?" I asked. "I do not know. I was under the stress of maintaining Grayson's health," Damia said.

"I'll come in the Batplane," I said. "Just stay there with Dixie." Damia nodded and hung up. I sent the coordinates of Damia's signal to the Batplane and brought a first aid kit with me.

(Twenty Minutes Later/Damia's POV)

The plane finally arrived. We boarded and it made its back to Gotham. "Do you think Father will be angry at you for taking the Batplane without permission?" I asked Drake as she set up a gurney to lay Grayson on. "Bruce will be mad at first, but once I tell him why I took it, he'll understand," she replied.

Drake removed Grayson's Kevlar armor and gasped. What I saw made me gasp as well. The sight was a horrible one. Blood leaked out from a wound near Grayson's mid-stomach area and covered her abdomen. "That's a bad wound," Drake said. "She needs a blood transfusion."

We arrived at the cave. Drake carried Grayson to a different gurney and I looked for a blood bag for Grayson. Finally finding one, I brought the IV over to Drake and Grayson. Drake was making good progress. She already had the wound cleaned and bandaged and had a heart monitor running. I handed her the IV and she put the needle into Grayson's wrist.

"I can not believe I am saying this, especially to you, Drake, but... Thank you," I said. Drake looks shocked. "You're welcome, Damia," she replied. "We'll always be there for each other." Drake hugged me, and I hugged back. "Miss Damia, are you hugging Miss Timberly?"

Drake and I separated fast and turned to the door. Pennyworth and Mother were standing in the doorway. "Me? Hug Drake? Of course not!" I said. "Brenna, Dixie's been hurt," Drake said. "What happened?" Mother asked. I left to go to my room.
