Clary and Jace wake up early in the morning to get ready for the second ultrasound. When they're ready they head over to the hospital.They get to the doctor's office and wait for their turn. The nurse calls for them and they go into the room. Clary's sits in the chair.
"Have you had any problems lately such as pain or running a fever" the doctor asks? "No everything has been going great" Clary replies. The technician comes in and puts the gel on Clary's stomach then the wand and we see the baby and hear the heartbeat the doctor says "Whoa"! "You're already at thirty-six weeks"."You don't have much longer til you give birth".
Clary and Jace smile then look at each other. "Anyway everything looks good the baby is fine" the doctor says. The appointment is over, Clary and Jace are on thworld way back to the institute. When, they get there they notice Alec was walking right behind them. "Where have you been all night" Jace asks.
Alec replies,"I stayed with Magnus at his apartment". Jace kisses Clary on the lips. Clary and Jace go to their room and lay down on the bed. Clary lays her head on Jace's chest. Jace wraps his arm around Clary's neck.Clary falls asleep and Jace watches her sleep.
Isabelle walks in the room and Jace looks up. "So how'd the ultra sound go" Isabelle asks? Jace replies, "good we're at thirty six weeks". "The doctor said the baby will be born soon". Isabelle leaves the room and Jace falls asleep.
