Jordan Slatter was anything but normal. Even as a child people around her knew there was something about her, they just couldn't put their finger on what it was. When she was at the age of five, her parents started to notice how their child would magically have the chocolate bar in her hand even though they made sure it was in the top cabinet, far from reach for a little girl.
It was small things, but it was enough for her parents to know their daughter was special. They sought help in different places, wanting to know what was happening to Jordan. It didn't take them long to get answers, realizing that she had the ability to move things with her mind.
It wasn't until she was seventeen when she finally started to understand her powers and use them for the better. She was no Superman, but she did try her best. But the life she started living was dangerous and put the people she loved in danger. On one hand she wanted to stay with her family but she knew she was selfish if doing so; what kind of person was Jordan if she risked the lives of her family just because she wanted to feel safe?
At the age of eighteen she packed her bags and left the country, never going back. It was the right thing to do, no matter how much it hurt to do so. She had to stay strong.
Now, 7 years later of trying to make her world a better place, a mysterious woman approached her while Jordan was waiting for her friends in a cafe. If Jordan thought her life was unusual before, what happens after this could only be described as extraordinary.

soooooo...... this is my first story on wattpad :) honestly i thought there was a bigger chance of me writing for marvel but since there aren't a lot of wlw diana stories on here, i thought why not? (edit: if you've seen this story before, it's because i first posted this on my old account. it was named "hiraeth". i switched so now we're here)
