Hi guys! This is my new story. It's complete and utter Jerrie fluff I know, my books have been lacking that recently

Sorry this is being published before the Heartbreak Club and In Her Uniform, it's a short story so it'll be 15 chapters at most, probably more like 13 chapters. I thought I could bang out the chapters cos I already know how the story's going to go. Don't kill me pls

Anyways, enjoy :)

"Has she come by yet?" Perrie Edwards asked, sprinting into the cafe and pausing to catch her breath.

"Nope," Jesy Nelson said, finishing polishing a mug and setting it on the top shelf.

"I still don't understand why you haven't just asked her out already," Leigh Anne Pinnock added, finishing ringing up a customer's order and sending them off with a cheery smile and a little wave of her hand.

"Because she barely talks to me," Perrie whined, tugging on her hair, a frown twisting itself onto her polished lips.

"Well, you've barely said a word to her in return," Jesy replied, rolling her eyes at her friend's immature behavior.

"Don't start Jessica," Perrie warned, grabbing her apron and putting in on, tying the strings into a quick bow.

"Take over ringing up customers for me?" Leigh Anne asked.

"Fine," Perrie sighed, moving to stand in front of the cash register.

"You're lucky you got here when you did," Jesy remarked.

It was just past 8:30, and there was barely a murmur of sound swirling through the air. Of all the tables around the little room, only three of them were occupied.

Leigh Anne, Jesy and Perrie all worked at Cafe Mix, a small building shoved in between the town's public library and clothing store on the corner of Elm and Picket street. Perrie couldn't understand how many people could fit into the space the cafe offered somehow they did, which was lucky considering the cafe's convenient placement and popularity.

"Isn't your name Perrie?" The soft, all too familiar voice brought Perrie's head snapping up to face the brunette standing on the other side of the counter.

"Huh?" Perrie asked stupidly.

"Your name," the girl said, pointing at Perrie's apron. "I thought it was Perrie."

Perrie looked down and sure enough, she was wearing Lucy's apron. Heat rose into her cheeks as she thanked the brunette quickly before rushing over to the rack of aprons and tugging hers on and Lucy's off.

"Idiot," Jesy muttered as Perrie rushed by her. Perrie shot Jesy a glare over her shoulder.

"Sorry, what can I get you?" Perrie asked, slightly breathless and very embarrassed.

"I'll just have an iced coffee with milk and sugar please," the brunette said, flashing Perrie a smile that left the blonde momentarily stunned.

"Huh - oh sure," Perrie said quickly.

The brunette only giggled.

"Y-your name please?" Perrie asked.

"I'm the only one here. I don't think you need to do that," the brunette replied.

Perrie sighed. She had a point.

So much for learning the brunette's name.

"Iced coffee, coming right up," Perrie said, walking back and making the bruentte's order, sneaking glances at her out of the corner of her eye.
