Chapter 13 - My husband

I got into my car and drove to the hospital i was while back and hope thats the same hospital they took her to cause its the closest. When we pull up i loose my hair so it could fall into my face as myra walked behind me. When we got in and went to the waiting room there were about five guys stand to a corner with no emotion so I'm guessing thats her men.

"Myra i don't think we can ask at the front desk about her they gonna suspect something " i said to myra as i try to think of something. Times like this i wish i have my badge.

"I'm blank " myra said

"Okay let's search for a doctor to ask " i said as we walked out of the waiting room to another section of the hospital. We spot a doctor coming out of the emergency room and stopped him.

"Hello a young lady came here with a gunshot wound bout a hour ago she's my sister i wanna know if she's okay please" i said as tears start to fall from my eyes. I'm good at fake crying only marcel knows when am faking it.

"Well she got shot in her leg and chest but it missed her heart and arteries , she's a lucky young lady" the doctor said as i sighs.

"There's four guys outside its her ex and his friends they're responsible for all this call the police" i said

"We always do when someone comes in with a gunshot wound " he said as i smiled. As we walked out into thw waiting room two police officer and a detective came in.

"Wait myles " i said as the detective looked at me .

"Issy " he said walking over to me giving me a hug.

"What you doing her " i said as the men slowly slip out the door.

"Gunshot wound victim " he said

"i think i know who's your victim she's a friend " i said

"So you know what happened " he asked

"Crazy ex" i said

"And Whats the name of this ex " he asked

"I'm not sure riley or something i don't know his full name " i said and he nodded.

"We gonna wait until she's out of surgery to give us her story " he  said.

After waiting in the waiting room for hours the doctor finally came out. We stood up and he came over .

"She's unconscious at the moment but she'll be up in few hours so I'd encourage you guys to come back in the morning " he said

" I'll stay with her til she's up cause she's cause she might get confused " i said

"Okay let me show you to her room " he said

"Myra go back to the hotel " I said and she nodded then left.

"These officers will be staying with you guys for protection I'll see you tomorrow issy " myles said and left.

I woke up to the sound of someone grunting.

"Khali" i said as she looked at me confused.

"Where am i and who the hell are you " she said

"I'm Isabel your in the hospital " i said

"That idiot tried to kill me " she said

"What idiot " i said and she looked at me and stop talking.

"Look if its marcel your talking he didn't try to kill you okay" i said

"And who exactly are you " she asked sitting up as she moan in pain.

"Marcel is my husband " i said in a low tone making sure the officers outside don't hear me.

"So your here to finish is job " she said raising her eyebrow and grabbing my throat but i quickly snatched her hand from my neck.

"Look am here to help you so you can help me " i said and she pull away her hand.

"How you gonna help me" she said

"Well your men aren't here and to make sure your not further investigated my ex is the detective on your case i told him your ex tried to kill you so tour gonna make up a story about some ex name riley " i said

"What you want me to helo you with " she asked.

"Your father got my husband " i said

"So what you want me to do lwt him free him " she said laughing.

"He didn't tried to kill you cause the Jamaican cartel give him the best product and not like we broke so we wouldn't try to steal back the money " i said

"Look you just got to trust me , when they release you, come with me back to my hotel " i said

"Why should I trust you won't try something " she asked

"Cause I'm responsible for you if anything should happen to you my husband is dead and  my kids are back there , i wouldn't bring you there if i know I'm planning on killing you" i said.

"Sighs okay" she said.
