Flaws of the Jedi

Confliction

Anakin, Rex, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan all looked at each other in surprise and shock, then over to Astoria. She looked just as shocked as them... but they all sensed she was somewhat faking the surprise of this comment.

They all noticed her glance at the left side of her belt nervously, the opposite side of which she kept her lightsaber.

"What are you looking at, Padawan?" Obi-Wan asked her in a stern voice.

She didn't respond. They all sensed her grow more nervous.

"Astoria? What are you hiding?" Obi-Wan asked, growing suspicious of Astoria, as were the others.

"I.. um.." She stuttered nervously.

"Well, spit it out," Anakin said, obviously growing a little irritated. Ahsoka gently held his hand in a successful attempt to calm him down.

"I-I'm sorry.." Astoria started, beginning to become slightly fearful of Anakin in the current moment. Anakin and Obi-Wan sensed Ahsoka grow very suspicious of Astoria as she said, "I showed you my main lightsaber; the one I prefer to use.. but I have two.."

"What?" Ahsoka asked, disbelief clear as day in her voice.

Astoria removed both lightsabers slowly from her belt, the one from the left side of her belt hidden by the shirt she wore.

The handle of her newly revealed lightsaber was darker; the coloration of a Sith's saber. Ahsoka took a small, but noticeable, step back, the grip she had on Anakin's hand tightening a little out of fear.

"Ignite them both, Astoria.." Obi-Wan said reluctantly. She took a step back from the four of them to attempt to prove she would not hurt them and did as her Master said.

Ahsoka gasped, her eyes slightly filling with tears. Anakin's jaw dropped a little and he held Ahsoka's hand a little tighter as well. Obi-Wan and Rex both stared in shock and slight fear.

The lightsaber she held in her right hand was Jedi-Blue... the one in her left being Sith-Red.

They all stared at her and her lightsabers in disbelief and shock.

"I found two Kyber Crystals, I made two different lightsabers.." Astoria said, obviously ashamed and disappointed in herself, "I really prefer my blue one.. I didn't really know what my red one meant when I made it.. not until I thought about it.."

"Y-you have a Sith lightsaber..?" Ahsoka asked.

Astoria just nodded.

"How could you not tell us, Padawan?!" Obi-Wan said, slightly raising his voice.

"I.. I didn't want you to know.." She admitted, "The only reason I keep it with me is in case I ever need it.. if I ever need two sabers to defend myself.."

Anakin looked at Ahsoka. She was staring at Astoria in a way he could only describe as pure horror and illness. She quickly released his hand and walked very fast out of the room. Anakin followed her immediately.

"Ahsoka," He said as he reached her, "Are you alright..?"

She was pacing back and forth, her eyes full of tears. Anakin walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder to stop her. She stopped right in front of him. She looked into his eyes and immediately began to sob. Anakin quickly, but gently, pulled her into a hug.

"N-no.. I'm not.. none of this is.." She whispered, squeezing him tightly as she sobbed in his arms, "Astoria is almost exactly like... l-like.."

She hesitated. She didn't want to say the girl's name that she was thinking of. She didn't really have to though.. Anakin knew who she was thinking of.
