Normal pov

Astrid sat down at the kitchen table next to her parents while hiccup tried going upstairs but

"Hiccup its concerning you too so come back and sit down" steve said hiccup sighed and sat down next to astrid

"Alright so my and your mother are going on a little trip away from Berk and hiccup i want to know if its okay to look after hiccup and lucas please can you promise me please" Steve said hiccup smiled and nodded

"Yes i promise i will proctect astrid and lucas i don't want them hurt either" hiccup said astrid got surprised

"Alright thank you so much we will be back in 2 weeks we are leaving tomorrow morning" ingrid said

"We are gonna leave some money an--" steve got cut off by hiccup

"Don't worry about the money i will have that covered" hiccup said

"No i can't just let you pay for everything" steve said

"I have promised that i will take care of them so i insist please" hiccup said steve smiled and nodded

"Thank you so much hiccup you have been so much of a help thank you" steve said

"No i am the one who should be helpful that i have a place to call home even  we started out like strangers" hiccup said

"Maybe its not the best time to bring this up but when are you planning on leaving" astrid asked hiccup maybe didn't showed it but he was hurt inside

"W-Well... my parents don't pick up the phone but i am planning to leave in a month" hiccup said astrid had this stranger feelings at her hearth when he said he gonna leave in a month

"Why? are you not that happy here" ingrid asked

"No i am more happy than when i was back in California is just that i miss my parents and i will go back in a month but maybe not" hiccup said looking at the ground

"Whatever happens we are here for you" Ingrid said the mood was now sad

"Alright then we have this settled in we should go to sleep" Steve said everyone nodded and then they walked to their rooms
ASTRID'S POV

I was in my bed not able to sleep thinking about Yes hiccup for some strange reason i didn't wanted him to leave but i hated him but i was getting sad when i thinked about him leaving

"Come on astrid why you think about him right now" i said my self and i then went to sleep

THE NEXT DAY

Normal pov

It was the morning 8am everyone was up and ready Steve and Ingrid are leaving today and they need to get somethings to do before they leave like harvest the tomatoes and the peppers and so on

"Hiccup Astrid can you go and harvest" steve said they nodded and walked outside hiccup was about to walk to his car but

"I think we should take the truck there is mud out there" astrid said

"Great idea you driving" hiccup said and they walked to the truck and sat in astrid was driving she started the truck and drove to the field when they arrived it was all muddy she found a place to park and they got out getting some baskets and some boxes out of the truck's back they walked to the peppers section

"Euh.... astrid eumm..how do you know if its good enough to remove" hiccup asked

"Really? its very easy if its has a solid beautiful color you pull on it and remove it" astrid said and they did one section each a time
After 50 minutes they finished the peppers and they brought the box back to the truck to get more empty boxes and they walked to the tomatoes section and they did the same thing but it took 1 hour they brought the boxes back the truck then astrid grapped some mud and throw it at hiccup and hitting the back in his head

"Oww that hurt" hiccup said turning around seeing astrid getting ready to throw the second one and it hit his face

"Game on Hofferson" hiccup said and they started playing throwing mud at each other they played for like 30 minutes before they got in the truck and astrid drove back they then got all the tomatoes and peppers in the house it was afternoon 4pm and astrid's needed to leave

"I am gonna miss you mom you too dad" astrid and lucas said they had a family hug hiccup smiled when he saw that he can't remember when was the last time her parents hugged him

Astrid's parents drove off with steve's modified truck and now hiccup astrid and lucas was only in the house
They where siting on the couch

"Its boring let's do something" lucas said
