"Don't move." Claire heard a mans voice say as the barrel of a gun was placed to the back of her head. Claire stood there for a moment before quickly grabbing the barrel of the rifle and pointing it in the air, the man firing several bullets into the air. She turns around and kicks out the mans knee. He fell to the ground kicking her in the face as he fell. She stumbled back as the man ran at her. She punches the man as hard as she could in the chest and pulls out her knife. She attempts to stab him, but he caught her wrist mid-air. He twisted it making her wince and let the knife fall to the ground. He jabs her in the stomach and she groans falling onto her back. He pins her down, kneeling on top of her, with a pistol to her head. "I was trying to help you, and you try to kill me?" He exclaimed. "You're the one with a gun to my head!" She yelled, attempting to squirm out of his grip. She felt around the ground for her knife and she found it. Claire hit the man across the face with the hilt of the knife, then pinning him down holding the knife to his neck. On the mans army vest there was an Umbrella symbol. She presses the knife into his neck drawing a bit of blood. "You're Umbrella." She said through clenched teeth. "Hey lady, I'm just a hired gun. I don't work for them, we were sent in by Umbrella to rescue survivors." He looked at her with kind eyes. She pulled away her knife and stood up, holding her hand out to help the man up. He took her hand and she pulled him up.

He was wearing a sleeveless tank top with a bulletproof vest and dog tags around his neck. He had Brown hair and also a greenish jacket. Around his forehead was a green cloth tied at the back. He had a couple of weapons, a pistol, a small sub-machine gun and a large knife. "Carlos Oliveira." He said with a charming smile. "Claire Redfield." She said smiling back. She was tired of introducing herself to so many people. "You know the rest of your group is dead." She was referring to the graveyard of similar looking soldiers her and Jill found. "I know." He sighed. "Our leader, we were looking for survivors and he was on the roof with a sniper rifle, and he shot a cop car with two survivors in it, and he sent in the other mercenaries and took one of the people, a cop. The other person escaped."

Claire's eyes went wide as she heard the words. "After we confronted him about it, he shot us all up, I was the only one who escaped." "Where is the cop?" She grabbed his shoulder squeezing it tightly.

" I don't know." He said looking at Her with a puzzled look. "I ran off before I saw."

"I was the one with him." She said her voice getting distant. "We were heading to the RPD but then "your leader" shot us off the road." She turns around and kicks her foot against the ground in anger. "I can help you find him, my mission is to rescue survivors."

"Okay." She said walking over to to her bike and sitting down. Carlos scratches the back of his head. "Um can I ummm-" "just get on." Claire said grinning. "Thanks." He said. He sat down behind Claire and wrapped his arms around her stomach. She starts the bike and throttles the engine before heading back down the road towards downtown.
