"Clear." Claire heard faintly. She walked out to see several corpses on the ground, the heads either smashed into the ground or a knife through the back of the neck. Claire holds her knife tightly in her hand. "I left my bike at a nearby gas station, we might be able to take it to the gun shop, or maybe out of town." She whispered. "You have a bike, why didn't you say so?" Jill said placing the barrel of her shotgun on the ground and leaned on the stock. "We can just leave town, no sense staying here any longer than we have too." There was moaning growing close to their location. About 4 infected shuffled around the corner of the alley. "You can handle em, can't you?" Jill said. Claire looked at the decayed mouths snapping at the air. The first one grabs at her and she ducks down and rams it in the chest knocking it back into the others. "Behind you." Jill muttered. "What-" arms suddenly wrapped around Claire's neck pulling her back. She pulls at the arms clawing at the skin. She takes a second and catches her weight and grabbing the arms tightly, folding her arms around them. She uses all her wait to flip over the head of the zombie, landing on her back. She crys out as it falls on top of her. Jill walked over and shoved her knife into the front of its neck from behind and cuts it, in one swift move of the arm. "That was a nice trick, just work on the landing." Blood poured out of the corpses neck onto Claire's vest and undershirt. She shoves it off from her and stands up, to see Jill had taken out the rest of them.

"Ughhhh, thanks." Claire said groggily. Jill looked down at Claire's knife on the ground. "Huh, Chris gave that to you, I have the same one." "You know you never said where he went." "I don't know where he went, he disappeared after our last mission together. He didn't say anything about leaving. He only said at the end of our mission, is that he was stop Umbrella if it was the last thing he did." Jill sighed, "let's just go."

They stepped onto the street and saw tens of corpses of soldiers, all with the Umbrella symbol on their chest. But these were a different type of soldier, they looked more civilian than the one she saw earlier. Some of them were torn open, some intestines and guts laying on the ground around the body. Claire looked around for Leon's body, it was no where to be seen. It sort of relieved her, and worried her. She looked back at Jill. "Was their a cop in that car with me?" Jill shakes her head. "Nope just that asshole who was dragging you away."

"What could of done this?" Claire asked picking up a bolt action rifle from the hands of a soldier. She checked the chamber and then thumbed in a round she got off the soldier. "Well, they all have gunshot wounds. And the others are hard to tell because their torn open." "I just wanna get out this hellhole.." Claire whispered to herself. There was one body that stood out. It was a woman in a skin tight black suit, with the Umbrella symbol on the side of her arm. She was wearing a blue gasmask, and her brown hair was in in a bun. They continued down the street having to step over continuous corpses. They approached the gas station and Claire pulled out her keys. She took her helmet off the handle and clipped it on her head. Even though it was getting dark she pulled her sunglasses up from around her neck and put them on. She looked back at Jill who was standing there, holding her shotgun. "Are you coming?" She said sarcastically. "No, I'm not." Jill said shaking her head. "What, you said we need to get put of town." "Someone needs to stop Umbrella, and I'm the only able-body. The rest of RPD is most likely dead. I'm heading there to find anyone else, but you need to get out of town and find your brother." Claire hesitated for a moment before answering. "Okay." She said nodding slightly. "Tell him I said hi." She ran off in the opposite direction and Claire started her engine and turned into the road and headed for the edge of town.

She stepped off her bike and set her helmet on the handle. She looked up at the metal gates closing off the town. "God Damnit!" She yelled kicking her tire. The town had always had walls but the gates were new. Umbrella must have added them when the virus was leaked. She places the back of her hand against her forehead. "Don't move." She heard a mans voice say as the barrel of a gun is placed to the back of her head.
