Scenario one:

Vibe had been investigating a kidnapping case for years, he was one of the the only cops who hadn't given up on this poor kid yet. They get a lead, at last, and save Decans, who was in horrible shape.
Deccy had grown to be terrified of anything that walked on two feet and had eyelights instead of pupils & irises, and with that and his insanity that had been gained from where he'd been kept, and Vibe couldn't help but feel super bad. He takes the kid, who couldn't have been older than ten, home to help with therapy and getting used to skeletons and humans himself, instead of with multiple instructors and being kept in a padded cell for two hours a day, then to eat, then another two hours, so on and so fourth.

Scenario two:
Decans was the new detective on the team, and he was assigned Vibe to help him with a case. Dec was clearly a very good detective, as he was very observant and was good at piecing things together.
The case they were assigned was one the agency had been working on for months, the Tan Siblings case. Decans was nervous, why had they let a newbie work on a hard case with barely any evidence and hardly any leads?
He makes an educated guess, and then works on figuring out if it was true. That guess had been right, and that made itself clear when all the pieces of the puzzle started to fit into place.
Everything made sense, but it was just too hard for Decans to spit out in front of seventy people.
Vibe can see his struggle from the crowd, since he wasn't that involved in the investigation because Decans was doing most of the work and figuring most things out, and he sprung up to help.
They'd become friends in their week of working together, and Vibe asks if Dec is free on Saturday, wanting to hang out some more to 'learn his secrets in detectiveing,' as he words it.

Scenario three:
Decans is a song writer, but he doesn't do concerts because of his anxiety, energy deficiencies (I'll explain this later), and allodynia. He finally convinces himself to hold a meet 'n greet, and he ends up just hiding in a corner behind the building away from everyone. Vibe finds his way back there and comforts him, and they start talking. Vibe had been a fan for a short time, and wasn't listening to the lyrics, more Decans' melodic and soft voice. He starts listening better after their meeting, and sees the meaning of one of his hit songs; Irony. Vibe could tell it wasn't just fake to fit in, Decans had really acted the way he had described. He feels too bad, and when he hears Decans when he's passing by an alley, he walks inside. Decand was hiding behind a garbage can, having a breakdown. Vibe helps him through it, comforting him and being nice, everything. Decans wants to stay with him for that night, (again, I'll explain later), and Vibe agrees.
