Mackenzie
I saw the craziest thing on the news today. I don't know why I was watching the news...
The Amber Alerts came on, and those things always scared me. What if I was one of those kidnapped kids?
Then, I saw one for a sixteen year old boy from Hadley, Massachusetts. Michael Baxter. Mike? That gothic boy that Angela was dating? No way.
I yelled for my sister to come and watch this. She widened her eyes and shrugged. She must be in a bad mood today.
Later, I got a recorded phone call about search parties for Mike. Everyone posted on Facebook about him, and wrote on his wall saying things like, "Mike! We miss you L." I doubt those kids even know him. And if they did, they probably bullied him like half the kids in the school.
The next day, Angela showed up at school, but she didn't talk to anyone. She ignored everyone who attempted to talk to her, and had her head down in every class I saw her in.
But anyways, Alex still hasn't been here in a while. Courtney told me she was breaking a promise by telling me, but he was in the mental hospital. Again? Probably. But I was having a tough time believing anything she said lately. After the mall incident and many more, my trust level just decreased.
I was trying to figure out if this was true, and most people thought it could be. I tried not to let that affect me, though. I need to stop worrying about Alex, and focus on more important things. School work? No. The new hot sophomore? Yes.
Still, nobody really compared to Alex. He wasn't all that good looking, but as I've said before, there's just something about him.
Later at home, I got a text from Rae, the guy in my health class. He was pretty cute, and a nice guy. But he had a girlfriend, so no chance there.
Rae was a flirt, but don't take it too personally. He does that to every girl.
I think I see a new crush coming! Uh oh.
