Chapter 5: etzuki

Chapter 5:

* the weekend*

Reiko's pov:

Everyone was rushing about but I couldn't help but look around at everything. My best friend hated me, I was the cause of my boyfriend/ fiancés brothers death. And now Yūrie hated me too. But somehow I had to sit and think about jade. My close friend and the one I missed the most. She hated me and wanted me dead. But I missed the way she would barge into things and not think of the consequences. Like when she bit teaches shoulder protecting Haru but in the end was thrown across the beach. She made me laugh sometimes.

* flash back*

Haru had invited me round his house about 2 months before all this happened. He wanted me to help him with some cooking because his parents had gone out again. They never had anytime for Haru and jade. I was suprised that it was me and not Yūrei but I didn't ask anything. Haru let me in and as we walked through to the kitchen I heard jade up in her room screaming at the playstaion.

"Sorry. She is screaming coz her gun is apparently crap but she won't change it so I can't help her there" Haru sighed looking back at me. I just giggled and walked into the kitchen

"Ok then what's for tonight? How about I do ramen it's easy. It's the instant one so should be about nine minutes for the three of us" he smiled pulling out a pan.

"Ok I will get the water boiled up in the kettle. It will be quicker." I smiled putting the kettle on

"Ok be back in a minute, need to go check on jade, her stroppy moods have come on I just bet she's on her fricking periods. And I have to go to the toilet" he smiled. I cringed at the thought but then just turned away. Did I need to know about jades periods. Haru disappeared off upstairs and I was left alone. I emptied the chicken ramen Into the pot and listened out for the kettle boiling. Soon there was a click to signal it was done and as I picked up the kettle there was a crash from outside. I jumped out of my skin and dropped the kettle sending the scolding water over me. I put my hand over my face to protect it and screamed out as it hit my arm. It started dreaming and I dropped down to y knees in agony. Haru ran straight in and slipped on the water going. Head first into the cupboard and his legs kicking me In the face. My nose and lip started dripping with blood and my bison blurred. Haru was out cold and soon my top body dropped sending me down onto Haru's back out cold. When I woke up I was in Haru's bed in the dark.

"Uhh... What happened?" I mumbled rubbing my head.

"Uh... What the hell are you doing in my bed?" Haru stuttered sitting up.

"I don't know?" I replied sitting up to. Suddenly the bedroom door flew open ad jade walked in with some drinks.

" hi. I found you two on the floor. At first I thought Haru was cheating on Yūrei with you but when I saw blood I was like well shi..."

"Jade no swearing" Haru butted in

"Sorry brother. Anyhow so I rang for the paramedics and they came. I didn't want blood in any of the other rooms so I put Rei in with you. They sorted you both out. By the way when we sorted you out and where about to leave I heard movement and when I looked round I saw Haru had his arm wrapped around you and was keeping you close." Jade smiled putting the drink down with some painkillers too.

"Wha?" I asked confused turning to Haru. He looked at me and took the tablets. I copied his actions an got up. As jade left Haru grabbed my wrists. And pulled me back down

" don't leave. Not like in the dirty way but stay like we did when we where little. When you used to just appear outside my room at twelve on a night. Because you had a bad dream and wanted to see me. I missed it and although Yūrei stays with me I do miss my best friend." He mumbled looking away like he was ashamed

"Ok" I replied lying back down and hugging into the covers. Haru settled down and soon we had dosed off. I felt another body and a I roused a little I saw jade poking my cheek.

"Can I come In too?" She whispered to me. I moved Haru over a bit and moved up closer to him leaving a space in the bed next to me for jade. She crawled and hugged in and soon we all fell asleep again

* end of flash back*

I opened my eyes to find a hazel eye and a dark blue eye looking at me. I backed off as she dived on me and wrapped her arms around me.

"Who the fuck are you!?!" I screamed trying to push we off

"I am Etzuki Igou. I am 15 years old and will be your friend!" She screamed making me cringe in annoyance. Her green hair flew behind her and landed on her hips. She was wearing a totaro hoodie and grey ripped skinny jeans. Her white converse kicked my shins and I winced in pain before letting out a small whimper. Her face dropped and she got off me

"Forgive me I get a little over the top sometimes but really I do mean well. Hear would you like a hand up?" She asked holding her small hand out. I took it and got up before she was suddenly hugging me again. It's like she was moterboating me coz her face was right there. Ok make that she was.

"My soul is nature/ earth. Don't bother telling me anything about you I know eveything. OMG I love you so much your the best show me your best move!" She squealed with her head still there.

"Er....uhhh...umm?" I stuttered just standing there. Was this kid on drugs or something. Help me for god sake before I shoot her!
