Chapter 22:
Reiko's pov:
* that night*
Issie went home about five minutes later and I was left in the library alone. Everywhere was submerged into the darkness and nothing but the light from my lamp stand shone. It was creepy to say the least but the fact that a cold hand touched my shoulder made me scream
"Rei it's ok it's just me" a calm voice said. I turned round and saw Yūrei looking at me smiling.
"Oh hi Yūrei" I sighed with relief.
"Look I am sorry about everything. Can we still be friends?" She stuttered with tears brimming in her eyes. I smiled and pulled her Into a hug
"Always forgiven never forgotten" I whispered into her ear.
"Rei....your so naive" she laughed as her scythe appeared into her left hand. I pushed back and flew back onto the desk.
"Y-Yūrei please what are you doing!?!" I yelled backing off into a book shelve
"Going to kill you" she cackled throwing her scythe towards me. I closed my eyes ready for the impact. I wasn't going to fight her. I never would. I was still waiting. But not impact. I opened my eyes to see it was Jammed into a shelled.... Issie!!!
"Move!" He yelled at me. I turned and ran Out of the library. Issie come on get out!!!. The ground started shaking and soon the library had started to crumble. I lost my balance and fell face first into the floor. Next thing I knew when I looked up the library was just piles of rubble. Issie and Yūrei....no
I got up and ran forwards as the blood from my head fell onto my face. Please no I can't lose them!!! I was suddenly flung back Into the grass and watched as Yūrei appeared: scythe in hand and she was smirking. Blood dripping from her nose
"You took everything close to me. I hate you!" She screamed
"I never took Haru. He was never in love me and I was never in live with him. Can't you see me am him are just best friends. Nothing more. Yūrei I don't want to lose you. I never hated you or anyone. Everyone hated me. But I didn't care. I would do anything to protect you all but you just want to kill me. Yūrei please calm down" I pleaded.
"No. Enough is enough. I'm tired of you and all this bullshit. You either drop to me and never speak of show your face to me again or you get you ass kicked and I will kill you" Yūrei laughed
"Bring it!" I snapped standing up. I really didn't want to do this. Please Yūrei don't do this....
