Hello, Pika here. IM BACK ON THIS STORY!!!! 😀 I'm gonna get right into this, so I can try to complete this before my phone dies. Warning my character Alex and my cousin TrueEclipse11 character Caleb will be partially featured (Caleb mainly at the start). Ok less talking more writing.

No one's POV

A figure in a long very dark purple veil stood on one side of the arena.
On the other side, a trainer stood, wearing an orange shirt with a simple red fire design, dark blue shorts, and black sneakers. His hair was a dark brown color. "The last Round 3 battle between the mysterious X, and the fiery Caleb!" Exclaimed the announcer. The referee stepped up to the side of the arena. "This is a 2v2 single battle. When one side is out of Pokemon, the winner will be the other Trainer." The referee told the two trainers. "And now... Battle begin!" Caleb threw his first Pokeball. "Let's go, Charizard!" The fiery Pokemon burst out the ball and landed on the battlefield and roared. X just silently tossed his Pokeball, sending out a Marowak (Alolan form).  "Charizard! Flamethrower!" "Marowak, Bone Rush!"

(A/N I'm just gonna skip to the end of the battle because I'm too lazy to write that part.)

"Eevee, end this with Dark Pulse!" Yelled Caleb. The move crashed into the opposing Gengar. The Gengar was knocked out from the move. "Gengar is unable to battle, so Eevee is the winner! Which means Caleb will be moving on to the semi-finals!" The referee announced.

Meanwhile in a separate part of the tournament grounds, Alex and Ash were having there own battle. "Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" "Pikachu use Quick Attack!" "Electro Ball!" "Thunderbolt!" "Iron Tail!" They were so focused on their battle, they almost missed the announcement saying who was in the semi-finals. "Attention all competitors, the trainers going into the semi-finals have all finished! Here's who's going in ." He listed the names, oddly 8 of them, but the ones that stuck out to either Ash, Alex, or both are Red, Alex, Misty, and Caleb. "Wait, 8 names?" Asked Ash. "I was wondering the same thing." Replied Alex. Their Pikachu each climbed on to their trainers, Ash's on his shoulder, Alex's on his head. "Well, we should probably get back to training," Alex said. Then Ash's stomach rumbled. "Actually I'm getting hungry. How about we stop for lunch?" He asked. "Your always hun-" Alex got cut off by his own stomach rumbling. "Lunch it is."

Well, was that OK for a return chapter? Anyways, before you say something, I know semi-finals normally have 4 trainers, not 8. But that's because I had an idea to end off the tournament. Anyways, I'm glad to be back to this story, and I will try to make this longer next time. Pika Out! Byeeeeeeeee!
