"Hey Jack, come with me!" Ethan called as he walked out to the car. Jack gave him a confused look.

Mark had been gone for about five months now, and it was really eating away at Jack. He tried to hide it, but Ethan could tell. He almost never laughed, and he was always spaced out. It was horrible to watch.

"Why?"

"Surprise!"

"I'm worried." Jack joked with a small chuckle as he reluctantly sat in the passengers seat. It surprised Ethan to hear Jack crack a joke. He hadn't done that in a while.

"You okay, Jack?" Ethan asked after they began to move.

"Fine. Why?"

"Just making sure."

"Thanks, Ethan."

"No problem. Radio?" Ethan asked.

"Yeah." Jack agreed, reaching forward to turn it on.

The first song that came on was "Missing You" by All Time Low. Jack smiled as he saw Ethan smile.

"You like this song?"

"I only know like, all the words to it!" Ethan said with a laugh.

"Me too!" Jack agreed, returning the laugh.

They both were happy as the rest of the car ride consisted of good songs and off key singing. Neither of them cared. It felt so good just to not care. Just for a little bit.

Eventually, they made it to the airport. Jack gave Ethan a confused look as the stepped out of the car and made their way to the entrance.

"Okay, so... surprise vacation?"

"You'll see." Ethan said with a smile as he got his phone camera ready. Jack shrugged, knowing he could trust Ethan.

They made it inside and sat down at gate 6. Ethan let Jack sit first, telling him that they'd have to wait for about half an hour.

"Ethan, what's going on?"

"You'll see! Patience, Green Bean!" Jack laughed and gave Ethan a playful shove at the nickname. Ethan shoved him back.

*twenty five minutes later*

"Jack! We can go now!" Ethan said as he calmly shook the sleeping Jack awake. Jack sat up from Ethan's shoulder and stretched.

"Where are we going?" He asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Baggage claim." Ethan said as though they were fulfilling a quest, grabbing Jack's hand and dragging him behind.

"Is my family here?" Asked Jack as he turned around to face Ethan, who was now recording the whole thing.

Ethan was about to answer when he looked behind Jack. A small grin grew on his face.

"Jack, turn around."

Everything stopped.

"MARK!" Jack screamed, sprinting the whole baggage claim and literally jumping into Mark's arms, wrapping his legs around Mark's waist. Mark laughed as he caught Jack, not wanting him to fall.

"Jack! I missed you!" Mark said as he sat down on the ground. He pulled Jack's head back to look at him. The tears fell from Mark's eyes as he saw that Jack was full on sobbing.

"M-Mark!" Jack exclaimed again with a stutter, wrapping his arms tight around Mark's neck and burying his face into Mark's shoulder.

"I missed you so much!" Said Mark, leaving a small stain of tears on Jack's shoulder.
