Dinner and Confrontations

When Maxine saw that Mike scored the touchdown she wanted to run towards him and congrats him but when she was walking down the steps of the bleachers. She saw genie when up to him and kissed him and hug she didn't feel like going up to him so she grabbed jacks hand and left she didn't know why but he wasn't bothered and Maxine just smiled and jack as they ran together with their hands together.

"Old Guy Diner"

The four read at the same time looking up at the sign were the O was blinking and when inside and the bell rang notifying people coming in. The four sat down at a booth next to the window violet next to the window and across from her is jack and next to jack was Maxine and across from her was Wyatt the waitress came to get there order and so then they ordered what they wanted. Soon after
Wyatt needed to get fresh air and violet went to the bathroom leaving jack and Maxine together

Jack turned his body to Maxine while Maxine had the menu next to her face blocking herself form jack because she new what he was gonna ask her. Jack grabbed the menu from her and place it down next to him so she won't grab it and asked her

Jack: why did you grab my hand when we walked out the bleachers

Maxine: why do you have a problem

Jack:no I don't but we just met and you already want our relationship to go

Maxine: excuse me

Maxine knew he was playing so she went along with it

Jack: so what are you gonna be the heartbreaker or what

Maxine: mmm maybe

Maxine and Jack laughed Maxine liked having jack around even if she just met him she just clocked with him I guess they both weren't nervous it's like they met each other before.Wyatt came back and grabbed his stuff and Violet had came out recently after him

Violet: ready

Wyatt: yeah

Jack and Maxine were confused jack thought (did they planned something before) (are they going somewhere else) Maxine thought (are they gonna have sex) (violet better get some)she smirked thinking about it and look at violet and then Wyatt

Wyatt: no no no we are just gonna leave

Violet: we don't want to be here

Jack: ok but your food

Wyatt: well take it to go

Jack: Why are you leaving??

Violet: we just need to talk

Wyatt: were gonna go for a walk that's all and then we might go to the after party

Maxine: what afterparty

Wyatt: never-mind

Jack looked at Maxine and then at Wyatt

Jack: ok fine leave bye I don't care that my friend is leaving me with a heartbreaker

Maxine looked at jack and looking at jack with her mouth opened in a defensive way

Maxine laughed

Maxine: excuse me I am not a heartbreaker hitting jack in his arm

Wyatt and Violet looked at each other and left they held hands while walking out jack and Maxine watching them since they were close to the window. Maxine grab her stuff and moved over to the other side. There food cane right after and jack smiled looking at his food he took out his phone and started recording his food and then Maxine saying.

Jack: my two favorite things food and Maxine at least one of them won't let me down and break my heart

Maxine grab his phone and smiled

Maxine: oh shut uppp I'm not a heart breakerrr!!

Jack smiled and started eating

Maxine put down his phone and then she heard a familiar voice walk through the door and she saw Mike and Genie together holding hands and Maxine frozed and snapped out of it when She saw Mike and Genie made their way over here when they saw Jack.

Mike: HEY JACKK

Genie: Hi jack

Maxine just stared at her food. Not wanting to make eye contact with Mike it's Genie. But Mike called her anyways

Mike: Isn't it Madmax what are you doing here with Jack

Maxine: um I'm......

Maxine felt guilty because she didn't want to see mike because she didn't go talk to him afterwards she thought it would be awkward

Jack: we here on a date

Jack blurted out looking and Maxine like he was scared of what her reaction was gonna be

Maxine was relieved and surprised he said that but he saved her

Mike was surprised to he should have realized when he saw them holding hands

Mike: oh really

Not really caring

Jack: yup just me and mayfield

Mike looked at jack in a furious way he did not just hear what jack said just now

Mike: What did you say

Maxine realized what Jack said and looked at Mike and saw he was quite mad nobody ever calls Maxine By her last name but Mike and a lot of people know that but Jack

Jack: What.....Mayfield yeah I call her that it's her nickname

Mike stepped back and said ok inside he wanted to burst and yell because he knew that he called her mayfield that is his trademark for Maxine

Jack was confused he looked at Maxine to get a answer. Maxine just shrugged and kept eating

Mike told Maxine something right before he left being pulled by Genie to get a table

Mike: At least I didn't lose this time (he paused not wanting to call her mayfield instead he called her Maxine)

Maxine cringed and the smiled she knew he didn't want to call her mayfield.So she let it slide not yelling back at him. Jack and Maxine finished eating and got up about to walk out Maxine got up trying to find Mike and Genie but she didn't see them they must have left early. Maxine was bummed she wanted to talk to Mike but i guess that wasn't gonna happen.

Jack: Hey you wanna go to the afterparty At one of the guys place

Maxine: One is the guys??

Jack: Yeah one of the players throw a afterparty

Maxine wasn't all about the party but when she did she would grab a few a beers and go upstairs to a balcony or onto the roof only if they had one so Maxine was wishing they did

Maxine: Sure
