Afterparties and Memories

Jack and Maxine parked on the street they saw Wyatt's car too so they assumed Him and Violet were there. Jack grabbed Maxine's hand and walked inside everyone drinking and playing inside the pool from outside and music blasting and people dancing and playing beer pong to people making out by the stairway. Jack was grabbed by three guys luring him to play beer pong. Jack looked at Maxine not wanting to leave her side but Maxine made a face that it's ok. Maxine was looking around to see if she could find Violet or even Mike but no she didn't. So Maxine made her way to the kitchen to grab a few beers and go upstairs to find a balcony or something. Maxine found herself on a balcony with a lawn chair and a side table she laid down and was looking at the moon making her blue eyes sparkle more than ever and the fresh breeze from the cold air outside.

Mikes POV

I retrace my thoughts from what happened at Old Guy Diner I told Genie to order to go we left to the afterparty genie instantly left to the pool with her friends and I grabbed a few beers and left inside my car I didn't drive away I just sat there blasting my music and drinking beers I didn't want to do anything I felt weird and stupid i wanted to hangout with Maxine and hangout with her but she was to busy with Bitch ass Jack. Me and Maxine were a hate play around type of friendship sometimes we took things to the next level or crossed the line but and the end we always apologized. Here is a confession Me and Maxine liked each other for a while but I was in a relationship with someone at the time and overtime we didn't talk to each other at all but when I broke up with her I thought Maxine lost feelings for me so I don't bother to ask her out. But from what I knew a lot of the guys liked Maxine and they'd ask her out but she always turned them down I thought she was just gonna focus on herself and I still do think that but today her with jack made me feel that she was waiting for something but what.

Maxine's POV

I layed there on the lawn chair down to my last beer since I only brought three with me. I was thinking about me and Mike and our relationship. I mean come on I honestly do like Mike but I realized I'm waisting my time waiting for him and Jack just made me feel different like Mike wasn't even in the picture but there was times were I wished mike just came to me and asked me out or something me and Mike had complicated relationship i guess he was in a relationship and at that time we liked each other well I liked him and I waited for him because I knew if I waited I might just have a chance and there were some cute guys who asked me out I wanted to yes sooo bad but if I liked mike And actually wanted to start a relationship with him I had to pass and I did. But I feel like it will never happened.

Mike POV

I turned down the music and realized I finished my beers I saw someone on top of the balcony laying down at first I thought it was Maxine because I remember she will always grab beers and go onto the roof and chill but I guess I just thought that because I was thinking of her so I left my car and looked really closely and saw that it was actually Maxine a smile plastered on my face and I didn't even realized all I knew was that this was my chance.
