Mike POV
I went inside the house where everyone was drunk and dancing and I quickly went inside the kitchen to grab a few beers. I ran upstairs to find which room max mayfield was in. I could see her red hair flowing up to the air and she looks up the moon while standing up I went up to her and I could see from the corner of my eye her staring at me. I slowly turned my head towards her and just stared I totally forgot about everything for a sec her beautiful blue eyes and her fiery red hair and her white pale beautiful skin her freckles that are just scattered everywhere
Max: what are you doing here wheeler?
Mike: just chillin I guess
Max rolled her eyes in a good way and chuckled
Mike: where's your boyfriend jack
Max was dumbfounded and why he had asked
Max: My BoyFriend Whattt EXCUSE ME!
Mike: What
Max: he is not my boyfriend I mean I'm gonna admit he's cute but no I can't I just can't
Mike chuckled and let out a sigh in relief
Max: so where's your girlfriend
Mike: I don't know probably sucking face with another dude
Max frowned and asked why he thought that
Mike: I don't know I feel like she's just using me you know maybe it's a mistake
Max: maybe
Mike looked at max like if he was about to marry her you know that stare where you know that person is gonna be really important to you like you just know it that's what the feeling was.
Mike slowly leaned in to kiss max. Mike pulled max over on top to him but Max quickly ruined it and push away and got up
Max: sorry I can't you have a girlfriend mike
Mike : you said it yourself I made a mistake
Max: I said maybe ok but I will never cheat or be that girl
Mike : But ma-
Right before mike could finish his word max was out the door she quickly try to find jack to see if he was still sleeping but she just ran out of the house to avoid mike. She honestly does want to be with him but she couldn't do that to Genie even if they were not in good terms
