Ian has never been this late for collage before. "Maybe he's sick?" They always say, but it's very unlike him, he is never sick during Summer. The cement clacks against my combat boots, the sky is a shade of greyish blue and filled with grey clouds, the compound is mainly grass with pale white cement pathways, roses grow all around, shiny green roots grow on the dull red bricks of the cabins along with timber roofs. Walking, I spot a girl wearing a blue tank top with very thin straps with see through black top on top, with mellow grey heels and denim shorts with a black belt. Blonde wavy hair flop over her shoulders.
Francesca Sincole, the stupid popular bitch. She walks with her face being ten times darker than her pale-ass body and her face is absolutely caked with layers and layers of make-up along with bad fashion sense. She is popular for being the most hated girl in this collage AND everyone knows her but nobody, except her side kick, wants to be her or looks up to her. I try to turn around, but then I get pushed to the ground by her petty friend, "Aw, Candy got pushed over by a bigger girl." I cringe as she says it mockingly. I jump back to my feet, filled with rage, I am known for being short tempered. A gasp as my hand smacks into Sky's jaw and she falls backwards onto her ass. Wait... SKY?! She was my best friend.
"Hey, Candy." She spat and I kicked her in the jaw as someone grabbed my arms and pulled me back. By the minty smell, I could tell it was Hex, he then let me go and I spun around with my fists in the air and ready to give him a black eye. I then remember that it's only Hex, he's shy, he hasn't done anything wrong. My fists drop by my side and I calm down. Mood swings, eh? "Look, I came to talk, not to fight, I need to show you something." His dyed purple hair doesn't hide the panicked expression that's clothed onto his face.
His hair is wavy and kind of short and kind of long, it glows in the sunlight, sparkly, his eyes gleam green and it compliments his winter skin, his dark red shirt a little baggy over his kind of skinny body, his jeans blue and shouting "BRAND NEW!" then his sneakers are black and blue. I notice his freckles, kind of sparkly on his face, makes him look feminine and then I remember that he's transgender. His jawline locked into place, his lips a little plump, his eyes sloped and soft, long lashes, eyebrows full and a little bushy/arched. He notices that I've been staring and I look away, blood flooding to my face. He doesn't notice and he begins to walk towards a cabin that I know all too well. Ian's cabin.
He swings the green, rusty door, a long squeak sounding like an alarm. My eyes adjust when he flicks the lights on. The curtains are all closed, a little brown old couch sits not far from us, a red rug cuddles the wooden floor that squeaks underneath each step, the walls white and peeling, the ceiling timber, the light dim and golden, but there's something scary I notice. Blood. Blood stains the couch, the rug, the wooden floor and the wall beside the couch. I squeak between steps and walk slowly towards a blanket that looks like it's hiding something. Ian? I wonder and then I bend slowly lifting my hand over the blanket.
About to grab it, about to pull it off then with one swift movement, I pull. Closing my eyes instantly, some girl screams and I glance up, Rachel stands on the staircase. Her posture is somewhat awkward. Her arms are distant from her waste quite a bit then I realise that it's because of her stupid huge plastic filled breasts. Her face looks gross, huge plump lips, her eyes look small and blue. She notices Hex and she tries to act like someone pretty. I never knew she had a thing for Hex, maybe she felt that way all along, even when she dated once my best friend Ian and even my other best friend Shadianna.
"What are you looking at, Caydence?" She asks, sassiness filling her disgusting voice, ever since Ian disappeared she's been chasing after every guy she can get her hands on. Laughing I wrap my arm around Hex who seems utterly disgusted and I whisper, "Just pretend you're with me and she'll leave you alone." He nods, "Hopefully." I quickly add and he cringes as he gives me a kiss on the cheek. I hope that she won't cause any damage, especially since I am not interested in faking a relationship, I just want to find out what happened to Ian. She scoffs and walks her fake-ass ass up the stairs. "Most weird thing I've done all day." Hex exhales. I nod.
I look back at the floor to see if anything was underneath and... it was just a dirty pink pillow with the words 'Life is just an beautiful illusion while death is a painful reality'. Sighing, I open up the door and head out with Hex close to my tail then part our ways along the concrete pathways trying to find Jesse and James. I walk past a poster plastered onto the poll nearby then walk closer to it and rip it down to read it better. "Robotics Collage represents a new café across the road called Ronnie's Café! Opens 19th of April, 2019!" My heart sunk into the depths of my stomach, that's where Rachel and Ian went and that was the exact date he went missing! But, why didn't she go missing?
Police cars are all lined up on the road towards the café. My heart pounding, I leap into a sprint towards them, maybe they know what happened. However, when I get close, I notice someone very similar in handcuffs. "Cay! Tell them I'm innocent! I was with you at the incident!" She calls out to me desperately. I sprint faster.
