"Kaito's an idiot." Luka mumbled.

"You just figured that out now?" Gakupo raised an eyebrow.

Both Luka and Gakupo were confused about their blue-haired friend, who was still chasing after that psychotic girl Miku.

"When is he going to figure out she's a danger? She literally carries a full-blown knife in her pocket. No one does that!" Luka sighed.

"Eh, soon she'll try to kill him and he'll finally realise she's insane." Gakupo said.

"It's just... I don't understand how he could be so blind! If he just looks at another girl, she'll pull out a weapon and have it at her throat! It's... inhumane!" Luka said, half-angry.

"Well, we're looking for her now, so be on your guard." Gakupo reminded her.

Luka nodded hesitantly, grasping Gakupo's hand tighter.

Miku had ran away south, opposite of where Luka and Gakupo came from. Neither Luka nor Gakupo had gone that direction very much.

"Where could she have gone?" Luka absentmindedly mumbled.

"Not like I would know. I barely come down here as it is." Gakupo scoffed.

The couple examined their surroundings carefully.

Kitsune Diner, Shoshai Orphanage, Akuhei Cinema... everything was abandoned. Not even a single post office was available.

"What happened here? An apocalypse?" Luka cringed at the sight of a rotting old building, the sign broken with glass panes stolen.

"I didn't think Tokyo could be such a ghost town. You'd at least think there'd be a tomcat or something." Gakupo kicked an old pile of laundry that had obviously not been worn for years.

"Well, I don't think Miku went this way. What do we do now?" Luka stopped walking, her questioning gaze meeting Gakupo's.

"We could go back and wait for Rin and Len at the club. I mean, we've seen Gumi and Meiko as well as Miku and Kaito, but..." Gakupo trailed his sentence off, a smirk on his face.

"What is it, Gakupo? You know I don't like it when you do that face!"

"But I make this face all the time!"

"Not the point! Just tell me what it is!" Luka pouted.

"Why don't we explore the cinema? It's the only building around here that isn't rotted completely and I've never been in a theatre before!" Gakupo explained.

"...Fine. But 1 thing out of place and we're leaving, alright?" Luka reluctantly agreed.

"Jesus, you sound like my mother." Gakupo joked, jogging towards the Akuhei Cinema.

The front doors of the theatre were once bright red, or so the couple thought. Almost all the paint was gone except for little scratches and bits of red here and there.

The lights of the sign were all either broken beyond repair or had their wires stolen. It looked like the entire sign was being hung by a single nail, judging by how far it was tilting to the right.
