Logan was slightly concerned when he saw Roman at the grocery store. Roman should have been on his way home to see how Patton and Virgil are. Roman only ever left home if it was for a short amount of time or if he knew Logan would be home. Roman had become much more protective of Virgil after Logan had walked into Virgil's room to check on him and had found Roman cuddling the hero. Logan looked around before walking towards the fanciful male, who had his back to Logan.
"Hello, Roman. I'm surprised to see you here." Logan said. Roman yelled out in shock before turning to face the logical man.
"Logan? What are you doing here?" Roman asked.
"Our shopping for the week. What are you doing here?" Logan asked.
"You texted me and asked me to do the shopping while you finished some project at home," Roman said.
"Roman. I didn't message you-" Logan started before being cut off by Roman's ringtone. He checked his phone and frowned in confusion.
"It's Patton. Wonder what he wants." Roman said before answering and putting it on speaker.
"Hello. Roman speaking."
"Roman! I just got a text from Logan saying he was in an accident!" Patton yelled from the other line. Roman and Logan shared a confused look.
"Patton. That's impossible." Roman said.
"How do you know?" Patton asked.
"Because I'm right here, Patton," Logan said.
"What? But... I got a text from you. You even sent a picture. The car had crashed into a truck." Patton said. He was more relaxed but also confused.
"Patton. That couldn't have been me. I lost my phone earlier today." Logan said.
"What?" Patton and Roman said. This was confusing for them. It was the same for Logan. It was right on the tip of his tongue and he couldn't put it together.
A car crash.
A truck.
Some texting like him.
His phone.
Patton panicking.
Roman being told to go to the store.
There was a connection but... What was it- wait.
"Patton. Where are you?" Logan asked.
"Near the store. Why?" Patton asked. Logan started walking out of the store, grabbing Roman's arm and dragging him along. He left the two carts in the aisle as he spoke.
"Patton. Roman and I are coming out of the store right now. Wait for us there." Logan said before hanging up. Outside, the two found Patton looking at them confused.
"We need to get home immediately," Logan said. He didn't stop walking and instead grabbed Patton's arm and dragged him along as well.
"Why? Logan, what's going on?" Roman asked.
"Patton. That picture that was sent to you. Was it of a rust-colored pickup that was totaled?" Logan asked.
"Well... Yeah... But what does that have to do?" Patton asked.
"Who was missing in the car we used to destroy the pickup in order to investigate, probably knows where we live, probably stole my phone, and is now able to mess with Virgil being as we're not there?" Logan asked. Roman's eyes widened and Patton gasped before he tried to start running. Logan held his arm and pulled him back using his telekinesis.
"Logan let go! I Need To Go Save Virgil!" Patton yelled.
"We Need A Plan," Logan argued.
"Screw that!" Roman yelled as he also attempted to run.
"What if we go in there and that man kills Virgil?" Logan asked. The two froze and turned pale.
"Fine," Roman said. "Whats this plan?"
"I'm glad you asked, " Logan said with a smirk.

"Virgie~ I'm Home!" Roman yelled as he stomped in. Being as loud as possible.
"Who The Hell Are You?!?" The man yelled. Logan snuck in through a window and temporarily stunned the man while Patton pulled Virgil away and towards safety. Virgil seemed to be in shock as he was just standing there shaking. Logan watched as Patton pulled up a force field around Virgil before he joined the other two to fight.
The four fought hard and it was going well for the villains when the man pulled out a gun and shot at Logan. Patton pulled up a force field in front of him but they heard someone yell in pain. Roman had been shot. Logan watched in horror as Roman fell towards the ground. Virgil's father pulled out a second gun and aimed it towards Patton while he aimed the first towards Logan. He went to shoot Logan when a scream rang out as the gun went off. Logan fell backward as his vision went black.
