{Luke's pov}
"Cheers to us, lads!" Ashton says, raising his half empty beer bottle into the air. "To us!" Calum responds, clinking his bottle with Ashtons.
We were out to celebrate the release of our album in North America. Our debut album was officially out all over the world and if that doesn't call for a few beers with your mates I don't know what does. "Anyone up for another beer?" Michael asks and I shake my head. I was perfectly content with the half empty beer in my hands. Michael stalks off to the bar while Ashton attempts to chat up one of the waitresses and Calum appears to be staring off into space. "What, or should I say who are you looking at?" I mumble, nudging the brunette with my bottle.
"You see that girl near the back? She's wearing a red dress that is hugging her body oh so nicely. She's with two other girls." I scan the bar for the mystery girl, my eyes almost popping out of their sockets when they land on here. A low whistle leaves my lips.
"She's fit, isn't she?"
I nod my head, she was truly a sight. She was the most beautiful girl in the bar, hands down. There was no questioning it. Her eyes were sparkling even under the dim lights of the bar, her hair looking soft and luscious and don't get me started on her dress. Saying that it 'hugged her body nicely' was the understatement of the century. She was glorious.
"Luke, you still there, mate?" Calum asks, raising an eyebrow at me.
"Oh yeah, I'm good."
"I call dibs on her." Calum says nonchalantly, taking a swig of his beer.
"What? You can't do that!"
"I saw her first."
"She's a living breathing human being, Calum, you can't call 'dibs' on her."
"Well, I can prevent you from talking to her. She's mine."
"I'm going to the restroom." I grumble, slamming my bottle down onto the table.
{your pov}
"Not to alarm you or anything, but tall dark and sexy is walking over here."
"Is the blonde with him?"
"No, he appears to have vanished."
"Damn." I sigh. I had noticed the two of them looking over at me a while ago and yes they were both attractive, but the blondie seems to have caught my eye.
"Good evening, ladies," He leans against our booth, shooting us an award winning smile. "I'm Calum. Would any of you like a drink?"
"We're fine, thank you. But since you're here may I ask where your friend went?"
"Excuse me?" I notice his face fall slightly, but he simply brushes it off, his smile returning to his face in an instant.
"The blonde guy you were with earlier. Is he still here?"
"I don't know where he went. He probably went home with someone."
"Oh?" I inquire, raising an eyebrow at the brooding brunette. "What a shame, he was cute."
"I'm still here though."
"I can see that." I chuckle, noticing his features flush slightly.
"Are you here with anyone?"
"Besides these ladies, no. Why? You want to take me home?"
"Uh, yeah, I guess." He mumbles, obviously flustered as he runs his hands through his hair.
"You seem nice and all but I'm just not interested. If you see blondie around, don't hesitate to send him my way." I wink at him. I swing my legs over my chair, my heels clanking against the floor. "I'm going to get a drink, be back in a bit." I smooth my dress and walk towards the bar, leaving Calum to mend his broken ego on his own.
