Obtaining my sword had sapped all my energy. Baal, on the other hand, wasn't half as tired and had no problem holding me up. The moment Lucifer spoofed into thin air, I fell on his arms and he made sure we got ourselves out of the circular hall.
"It's strange seeing you this beat up..." Baal spoke worried. I just hung on to him and rubbed my cheek against shoulder. "...and so awfully quiet."
Baal and I stumbled through the enormous gold door that led to the hall where Freckles waited for us. Freckles received us at the hall and made sure Baal was okay before helping him carry me back to our room. Past the door my body refused to move.
"Is he okay?" Freckles' voice was distorted. He seemed far away.
"No, he's really tired. He needs to rest..." Baal sounded clear as day, but I wasn't sure if it was because he was near me or because our Bond allowed me to understand despite my zoning out.
Not long after we left the hall, I blacked out, a slight sense of dread being the last thing I remember.

I awoke inside our room in the Temple, tucked in bed shirtless and alone. With effort, I sat up slowly and tried to get on my feet. My body was numb, completely groggy from one of the longest sleep sessions I had had in a while. It took me quite some time to manage standing up. By the time I started making my way to the door, Baal arrived with a tray of food in his hands.
"Luke..." The sweet and caring manner in which he spoke my name caused my heart to skip a beat.
It seemed like so long since I last heard his voice...
"I'm so happy you're awake. You've been sleeping like a log for two days in a row. The moment I sensed you would wake, I rushed over to the kitchen and got you something extra to eat."
My body got tingly as I took in Baal's scent. A sweet, honey like aroma flooded my nose and threatened to drive me crazy. My mouth watered just thinking about how amazing he tasted, my teeth ached in need to pierce his pretty, pale skin.
Baal clicked his tongue knowing well what I was going through thanks to our Bond. Treading carefully, he took the chair and dragged it away from bed. He placed the tray of food on it and only then did he dare walk closer to me.
"You haven't had any blood in over a month. I commend such a feat, but you shouldn't push your limits without need." Baal had a sexy smile on his face as he fiddled with his pink braid. "I promised you I'd keep you warm up here on the mountains, so here I am."
He took off his jacket before he placed his hands on his shirt's border and pulled it off. He let his discarded clothes fall into a pile by his feet while he placed his braid over his right shoulder. Each second that went by made my thirst worst and made Baal look more alluring. He was driving me crazy and it was great. The young pink haired man walked closer to me, each refined step he took making me get all the more excited. Entranced by him, and locking my instincts so I wouldn't jump him, I forced myself to be more or less docile. I provided no resistance as he pushed me to lay face up on bed. He straddled my hips and teased me by letting his lips hover over mine.
"You're not the submissive type, much less the type to keep quiet. Are you that hungry?" Baal spoke to me with his thoughts as he brushed his nose against mine.
"I'm actually trying my hardest to avoid devouring you without your permission." I replied enticing a laugh from the man sitting on me.
I didn't want to suddenly go feral and hurt him by mistake.
"Alright, then don't hold back anymore. Enjoy your meal, handsome."
Baal tapped our Bond and a surge of electricity ran down my body. I moaned pleased before I surrendered to the blind desire that had gotten so strong over the last few seconds.
