"Luke? Wake up, it's morning!" Baal's lovely voice brought me back to consciousness.
At first, I had a hard time remembering how I had fallen asleep yesterday... but the more awake I became, the more I remembered of last night.
"Silly, c'mon! We gotta get to Sanctum soon..."
"Mmm, gimme a minute."
"No!" Baal tugged on my arm until I was sat upright.
I probably looked like a total mess, I could barely keep my eyes open from how sleepy I still was. The pink haired man choked a laugh as he took in my image. Through our Bond I sensed he regretted having to wake me up.
"I thought Ancients could go without sleep? Sorry to wake you up, but we really have to go. A small plot twist, Erin is going to stick around with Sasha."
"That's odd...what—" I yawned widely, taking a small break on speaking afterwards to blink a little and maybe get my eyes to open in full. "—made her stick around?"
"Sasha said he didn't quite understand but he wasn't whining. I asked Erin too, she said she wanted to hear him say her name at least once. Doesn't take much to put one and one together after that."
"...so, Erin is upset he didn't call her name?"
"Guess so. Whatever she plans to do, I hope Naomi never sees into their future. She'll want him all to herself when she finds out Sasha returned to Sanctum."
I stood up from my rather comfortable sleeping bag getting around the idea that no, I could not go back to bed and completely forget yesterday's hallucination.
I walked over to the blue-colored water lake and splashed my face in an attempt to take away my grogginess. Like Baal mentioned, I could do without sleep, which meant this sluggishness had to be an effect of the curse. By the time I returned, he had already stored my sleeping bag and hung it from one of Ion's saddle's sides. My hot lover enjoyed a rather appetizing red apple while he waited for me to come back. Taking notice of my approach, and with a mischievous glint in his eyes, he started eating the red orb slowly. He bit into it with some sort of weird finesse that made my skin crawl. He chewed the piece thoroughly before gulping it down and breathing out rather relieved. His purple eyes ran from the tip of my naked toes to the faintest hair on my head as he examined my reaction.
"Hey, finally awake?" The question was voiced with a borderline naughty smile plastered on his face. "If you're still sleepy I can think of a few ways to wake you up."
My lover spoke in sing-song as I walked nearer to him to pull him close to me.
"It'd be nice if you shared some sweet breakfast," I replied and took his hand into mine. I stole a bite from his apple and purred on his ear. "Mmmm, this tastes good but I'd like something much sweeter."
"You're thirsty? That's the first time you ask me up front." Baal looked around making sure only Ion was around before he unzipped his shirt and exposed his neck. "Don't let much run down, I like my shirt."
Baal chuckled as he used his one free hand to brush his pink hair off his neck. Tilting his head slightly, he invited me. I grinned amused by his zero hesitation, it would never cease to excite me how welcoming he was.
I pressed my lips against his soft skin, his pulse getting quicker with each passing second. He held on to the half-eaten apple tight even as he tensed while I ran my tongue over his neck. My teeth ached while I savored Baal's delicious blood without so much as even feigning to bite through his frail skin. I hummed a little, my tongue drawing circles over the patch of flesh I planned to pierce. Baal let out a long sigh, his legs shook, his thoughts lingering off to be less decent.
