Quiet. Isolated. Distant. Alone. Stranded. Apart. Private. Deserted. Away. All words that describe many things. From hide and seek in the wasp-infested shed of my grandparent's house or my brain bouncing off the walls of the asylum I call "The Gayscape." Pictures of Daniel Radcliffe line the wall, alongside Brittany Spears and Lady Gaga and many others hiding the fact you like their music, but not them as people. All except Daniel, my first male interest. Harry Potter, it was. I know I watched the first movie but don't remember a thing. I only picture the lightning bolt lining his forehead, his mind, chamber of secrets. He could keep mine anytime.
