Hidden

We hide our face because we are told to,

We shut our mouths to listen to what others say,

When did we become so fragile?

We are the one who should show what it means to be confident,

The teens who make it through depression or bullying,

We stand tall until told not to,

Until someone brings us down,

But that shouldn't stop us,

We can't stop here,

To change the world,

To open their eyes,

Teens are a population,

A population that is decreasing,

Six to seven teens commit suicide each day,

That means two thousand five hundred and fifty-five a year,

In a perfect world on the news,

Zero teens have committed suicide today,

What has made this dramatic change?

We did,

We are the future of teens all around the world,

Parents, teachers, guidance consolers,

They make an effort,

but they make it worse,

We are here,

Put on this world to help on another survive,

Help someone,

Tell them everything is going to be alright,

Give them your number,

"Hey, call me anytime"

You could save a life ,

One day,

We will live in that perfect world,

Where zero teens commit suicide,

But WE,

Have to put in effort,

So we can save a life.
