If I Could Fly (( A One Direction Fan Fiction ))

Chapter 6.

Lydia's PoV

"But it's only 4:20..." I spoke quietly, yet I knew that everyone in the room heard me. Everyone just laughed and got up from where they were sitting. We all headed towards the door to get our shoes on. I pulled on my black Converse. The others did the same. From the corner of my eye I saw Louis standing on one foot trying to get his other shoe on; but he lost his balance and toppled on top of Niall, who fell onto Zayn. I laughed, Liam joined in.

"Niall, get off of me you l-.." Zayn yelled as he was on the ground, but before he could finish, Liam interrupted.
"Zayn! There is a child present!" Liam cut him off, using his head to gesture to me. This only made me laugh harder, as I was only about half a year younger then Skylar.
"I mean uh, Niall, get off of me you, uh, Little Irish Leprechaun." Zayn laughed.
"I can't, Louis get off of me so I can get off of Zayn!" Niall begged.

Louis stood up, brushing himself off, as if he had gotten dirt or something on his clothes when he fell. Niall stood up doing the same, lastly Zayn stood up, he looked around the small porch area. He made eye contact with me before we both started laughing, the other boys shortly joined in. We were laughing for a good 3 minutes before we could finally stop.

"Wait, where's Harry?" I asked after we all regained our breath, only now noticing that Harry was no where to be seen in the small area. The other boys looked around the room, a confused look upon their faces.
"Hmm, I don't know." Niall shrugged.
"More importantly where's Skylar?" Louis piped up, Zayn nodded in agreement. Niall turned slightly glaring at Louis.
"Er, I uh, I- I mean..." Louis stuttered.
"Uh, He means, of equal importance, where's Skylar? Or maybe even a bit more importance because, she's you sister..." Zayn jumped in, but by the look on his face I could tell that he was probably regretting it.

This resulted in a quiet laugh escaping my lips. Liam turned his head, looking at me. He put his index finger to his lips, as if telling me to be quite. I bit the inside of my lip, nodding, in attempt to stop my laughing before it got any louder. He playfully rolled his eyes as a slight smirk appeared on his face.

"Ha ha, very smooth you two, but seriously, where's my sister?" Niall asked, sighing, he was clearly worried about Skylar.
"I dunno, I'mma call her." I said, pulling out my phone. I quickly unlocked it and punched in Skylar's number. I put it on speaker, as I knew Niall would feel better if he heard Skylar's voice himself. It rang once, twice, three times, and on the forth ring, she picked up.
"Hey there, Lids!" I heard Skylar's cheerful voice on the other side of the phone.
"Hey Sky." I responded.
"What can I help you with?" Skylar sounded like she was smiling.
"Well you see, me and th-..." I began.
"Where the hell are you?! You better not be with some creepy boy in an alleyway!" Niall jumped in, cutting me off, though he was practically yelling.
"Chill mate, she's with me." I heard Harry's voice on the line. At first Niall sighed with relief before speaking.
"In an alleyway?"
"No, no, we're walking to school together." Harry laughed.
"Mhm..."
"Hey, mate, did you at least leave us the keys?" Zayn asked.
"Duh, what am I? Stupid?" Harry asked in a sarcastic tone.
"Weeellll...." Louis laughed.
"Shut it, Lou! The keys are on the counter." Harry spoke.
"I swear to god Harry, there better not be any hickeys on he-" Niall began.
"Well, gotta go, bye bro, see you at the school!" Skylar practically yelled before hanging up.
"I swear to god..." Niall muttered under his breath.

"Oh whatever Nialler, let's go! I'm driving!" Louis screamed, running out the door with the keys in hand.
"Oh! Can I have shotgun? Do you guys mind?" I asked. The boys nodded.
"I don't have a problem with it." Liam answered.
"If Liam's okay with it, then yeah, it's like his domaine." Niall laughed. I smiled, climbing into the passenger seat of the front.

Hey there Loves, I'm sorry for not updating lately,
it's been hard with school and everything. I plan to update
and post the next two chapters on Saturday and Monday.
I'll probably pick up with the drive/walk to the school, and probably
end off with the end of the day after the auditions.
