[Renjun POV]

Renjun couldn't sleep.

Reolli.

He couldn't.

The brown-haired  boy's thoughts drifted to Jaemin and Jeno.

Out of curiosity.

Or out of some feelings he couldn't pin down.

"Ugghhh... whyy...." Renjun whinned.

He just wanted to sleep, but Jeno and Jaemin ran around his mind like mischievous toddlers. Surprisingly, he  found it more silly and endearing than annoying.

Sighing, he decided to talk to someone to get his mind off things.

"Ah? YangYang?" Renjun called his crew in China.

"Injunniiieeee!" YangYang cheered. "How are you?"

"Just fine. I just needed someone to talk to," Renjun giggled at the other's energy.

"Hey! I heard from Yixing-ge that you've found someone. Are you dating already?"

Renjun choked.

"ExCuSe mE?!" Renjun pulled a Park Jimin. "Who told you that, child?"

"The sheep," YangYang said casually. "I just said so. Anyways... WHO'S THE LUCKY GIRL, SISTAR?!"

"I'm not saying anyone, Double Y!" Renjun laughed out loud.

"Aweeee... okay, but how is it in Korea?"

"Honestly, nice. I have to go to a new school tomorrow. My enrollment finally got accepted. I came on a national holiday so I luckily didn't have to go straight away," Renjun told him.

"Well, good luck then! Also... Injunnie, I think your parents are looking for you..."

"What?" Renjun froze.

"Well, I know they didn't say a thing when you told them you were returning to Korea, but all of a sudden the head butler of your house started asking if any of us knew how you were doing over there. You parents never do that, Injun. Much less your butler. Don't you think something is up?"

"If they care about me, they'll call me," Renjun said coldly, heart stinging from the pain of his parents. "Otherwise, I'm almost not their son."

"Oh no.. I'm sorry Injun, I didn't want to make you sad..." YangYang was probably cutely pouting from the other side.

"Nah, it's okay. It's not like I'll cry over some people who tossed me money and expected me to grow up on my own."

"But why are they looking for you?"

"I don't know, do aliens exist?"

"No one knows that!"

"That's my point, Double Y," Renjun turned over on his bed and sighed. "I don't know why they're finally trying to reach to me after 17 years."

"Want us to say we don't know how you are?" YangYang offered, understanding that Renjun just wanted his parents to come to him directly.

"Nah, tell them," Renjun sourly said back. "It won't change the fact that they won't come see me."

"Oh Injunnie..." YangYang said softly. "You need love, my friend."

"But I have you guys..." Renjun replied in a fragile voice. "What more could I want?"

"I know you miss them, Injun..."

".....I gotta go..." Renjun quickly hung up.

And thus, the usually enthusiastic Chinese cupid had another familiar night of crying himself to sleep.
