She was running through the jungle, dodging tree after tree.

All the noises she could hear was the chaos of animals; shattering her thinking.

But she could think of is getting to the temple before sundown; or if she could make it out alive.

Soon as she snapped back into reality, she heard hissing from all around her. She blinked and saw predators following her every step.

Lyra’s heart started to race. And as she turned her head, she ducked as a tiger attempted to bite at her head.  Her bow spun in the air and plopped back on her head as she ran and jumped over a log. She sat on the ground, panting and trying to keep her heart from racing.

She wished to fling herself up in the trees so the tiger would soon go away, but because her wrist sprained and her rope shortened, she was grounded for a few day, which seem like weeks, or maybe even months.

She rubbed her wrist and looked around to see that the tiger wasn’t alone.

Her pupils got smaller as she saw the tiger was with a puma, a wildcat, a cheetah, and a ferocious, little kitten growled all at once as they stepped closer. She tried taking a step back, but they all got closer and surrounded her.

Lyra looked left, then right. Trying to find a way to escape. That’s when…

“Aha!” She thought.

But as the vicious cats had almost trapped her, she spin kicked the tiger in the face.

The tiger screeched with a loud

“MEOW!”

The tiger backed up, but that didn’t stop the other cats from trapping her. But for Lyra, that wasn’t a problem. She got the others cats off tracked by distracting them with a cat toy, jumped over the hissing kitten, and ran down the hill.

Soon the vicious cats noticed she was gone and chased after her. She found herself running again.

Wind swept through her hair as she passed the trees, and jumped over logs and rocks.

But soon she stopped herself; for she was standing on the edge of a canyon, panting while she knew the vicious cats were seconds behind her.

Then as she was looking left and right; looking for a way to escape, she spotted a vine, hanging in the middle of the canyon.

She took a few steps back, then ran and jumped off the edge. She spun in the air to increase her speed. Soon she got close enough and grabbed hold of the vine and swung like crazy. The cats stood still on the side she was on as they saw Lyra standing on the other side.

She saluted them goodbye and ran off.

As she laughed, Lyra continued to run through the trees. Soon after running a few kilometers (with rest in between), she stopped her running to see the Temple of the Emperor’s Tomb right in front of her.

With a grin of Determination, Lyra walked inside. But at the same time she felt as if something… Or someone was watching her…

Meanwhile, somewhere in the distance…

“Do you know what to do, my sweet rose?”

A deep male voice asked

“Yes, master…”

A sweet female voice answered

“Good. Now follow her. And make sure she doesn’t see you…”

“I’m ready…”

“Don’t let the Anthro-Faunus’ down… And remember to get what we’re looking for…”
