Starting a new story

~Chapter 13~

~Taylor's POV~

The restaurant is extremely fancy. I look around and see that most people are dressed in suits. "We really underdressed." I laugh.

"I know! I feel like we totally stand out." Nikki grabs a mint off of the table.

"I have a private room in the back that I reserved so we're all fine." Snow says and stays close to Shawn's side.

The waitress guides us all into a hidden room in the back. She opens two glass doors and we walk inside.

I pull out a chair for Nikki in the middle of the table and then sit next to her. "I'm sort of nervous about how this is going to go down." She whispers in my ear.

"Same. I hope nothing gets too out of control." The glass doors open and Britt and Cam walk in.

"You guys are a little late." Jess chuckles.

"We got caught up in traffic." Cam tells her. Britt stands at his side wearing a short, teal sundress. Her blonde hair is in loose curls. She looks absolutely stunning.

Cam sits next to Shawn and Britt comes and sits on my other side. "Did you stay with Cam last night?"

"Yea. I needed some time away from Matt and you know Cam was stressed. It worked out." She takes her napkin and puts it on her lap.

I take my red bandana out of my hair and tie it up again. "I don't know what I'm in the mood for tonight."

"I will probably get a Filet Mignon. Minus well go all out fancy." She puts her menu down.

I see Nikki staring at me out of the corner of her eye. What's her problem?

The waitress comes in and takes all of our orders. After she leaves, it's dead silent.

"Hi guys." Britt says.

"Your so awkward." Nikki laughs.

"Shut up." She gives Nikki a glance.

"This should be interesting," Shawn mouths to me.

"Hey guys I just remembered I got a text saying that the party is cancelled. But one of my close friends who lives down here is throwing one next week so it's all good," Jess says.

"Aww no more abandoned building." I make a sad face.

"Ya it's being torn down." Jess puts her phone down.

"So everyone. We are all here for a reason." Cam starts.

"As we all know, a lot has been happening between our group and we should take this opportunity to hear everyone's side of the story." Snow makes eye contact with everyone at the table except Nash.

"All I know is you two were making out when I walked in." Nikki points to Snow and Cam.

"Yes. We were both talking, having a deep conversation and then we just started kissing. We both realized what we were doing and pulled away. Nikki just happened to be there the whole time." Snow says.

"It all happened really quick. It was..a blur." Cameron starts playing with his fingers.

Snow turns to Nash. "Nash. I am so sorry. You didn't deserve any of this. You treated me better than any other guy ever has or will. I made a huge mistake and I am just extremely sorry."

"Thanks for your apology." Nash looks at her with no expression on his face. We all wait in silence for him to finish but be doesn't say anything more. Snow looks down like she's about to cry.

Brittney coughs to break the silence. "Cam.."

"Uh ya well Jess-" He starts but she interrupts him.
