Once you turn you can never go back.

And who'd a thought, I would listen to that rule

oh, that's right, nobody.

At-least.. that's what I keep telling myself.

Keep running.

Maybe if I kept my mouth shut.. No. I couldn't, especially if she was in danger, I would try to talk my way out of it either way.

Keep close.

Run and don't look back.

That's what we planned to do, get out and live free. But, knowing the keepers.

Don't turn around!

It was near impossible to defy them and live to tell tales.

So I guess.

We had no choice. One of us had to go, distract them, so I did. I ran out right in front with my arms open wide, embracing what should have been.

There was no-one there, just an empty space of nothing.

So to speak.

NO! IT'S A TRAP

Casey?-

I was a fool.

I was turned into a hideous creature as punishment for trying to defy the keepers.

And my very dear someone.

Who died because I  spoke up for her.

Never even looked at me, or even acknowledged I was alive when I turned, before she died.

she didn't want to see me.

That was her first mistake.

And my last.
