Chapter 7: Old Friend

(School Cafeteria)

"Damn, being associated with him is such a drag." a certain gray haired girl said. "I hope he doesn't get into a troublesome situation." Mari spoke.
"Yeah yeah, as if he can't handle himself. You're worrying about him, Ms. President." the blond haired secretary told her with a mischievous smirk.

"It's not that! I mean, he's a student here, he's my responsibility. If he- Oh, Uchiha-san, have you already found out what happened outside?" The president replied with a small blush on her cheeks.

"Yes, it turns out that, he is actually an on old friend of mine..." The short haired guy told them. "Why don't we all greet him in the USC Office? It's much more comfortable there."

"Yes, let's go now." the president replied.

"Wait, where is the guy in question?" Meiko asked him.

"In my own dimension, but don't worry he won't die there, after all, his left eye has a similar ability just like my right eye." Obito answered her with a smirk, their blank stares showing their confusion over the matter.

(Kamui Dimension)

Kakashi woke up confused because he once again saw the boring look of the Kamui Dimension. "Madara probably used a modified Kamui, because if it is not Kamui, then I am not supposed to be here." He mused.

'I also remember hearing voices saying "Eww", "pervert", and "homeless" or something along those lines. Probably some civilians, but the real question is, how did I ended up here?' he thought to himself.

"WAIT, what, civilians?" Sudden realization hit him hard. "I need to get out of here so I can help the Allied Shinobi Forces. KAMUI!" Nothing happened. "Huh, why doesn't it work if I'm just inside Kamui? Lemme try again, KAMUI!" Still nothing. "Damn it, what is going on in here?!" Then just as he was about to throw a fit rage and despair, someone came into the dimension.

"Kakashi Hatake, my old friend." The man said. Kakashi's lone eye widened at the very familiar voice. "Obito! I thought Madara betrayed you, how come you're here as well?" He replied. "Yes, he betrayed me, but I was able to survive, and now I am living in a peaceful world, a world without abysmal chakra and war, a world without shinobi. As you have already noticed, my clothes are already quite different compared to that Masked Man and Tobi's clothes, that's because I wanted to change myself, for Rin. I want to forget the past, and I want to forge a peaceful life ahead of me." Obito told the cyclops. Kakashi was shocked, he never thought that the perpetrator of the Fourth Great Ninja War would change for the better. He narrowed his eyes. "Is that so? Then show me to this peaceful world of yours so that I may believe."
"I know you still don't trust me after what I had just did, but at least trust me on this one, we were friends after all. Before we leave this place, I suggest that you at least patch yourself up if you have some medical kit with you. It's fine if you don't want to do so." The Uchiha replied with a smile. "I don't have a medical kit with me, let's just go." Kakashi replied with his signature eye smile. "Well, grab my hand." Obito told him. That got Kakashi's attention because, in reality, Kamui can be used inside the dimension without the need to touch the person to be teleported. "You're obviously wondering why I said that, it is because I placed 4 chakra suppression seals on you, in case that you retaliate with force. Think of it as a safety measure. I will remove it once we're outside. Oh, and lastly, don't read your orange book in public. Just keep that "work of art" to yourself." Obito told him with a smirk. He is truly a good boy. Even if the Akatsuki thinks that he's just a blabbering idiot. "Now, let's get going, they're probably mad at me for disappearing for too long." And with that, their broken friendship was healed. All that remains is their past.

(Underground Student Council Office)

"Tch, what is taking so long? I thought that said intruder was just here." Hana said with annoyance. "He's probably having a talk with that newcomer." replied the President. "Why would he do that? I can sense a tiny bit of hostility in his voice when he told us about that guy." The Vice President said.

Just as they were talking about Obito, the air at the center of the office suddenly swirled, centered around a certain point. Then, Obito appeared along with the very well known Copy Ninja, Kakashi Hatake, also known by some as Kakashi of The Sharingan. Their appearance made the three girls alert.
"So you were the guy outside the school entrance, I presume you know the guy who brought you here." Mari told Kakashi, alertness and a tiny bit of wary can be sensed in her voice. Probably because the other guy in front of her looks like a highly skilled assassin for hire. Then, Obito decided to introduce the Copy Ninja.

"Everyone, this guy right here is another victim of war, we were friends, yes, but because of my selfish desires, our friendship broke apart, and now, we are trying to fix everything, because we were tired of fighting, we just want to live a normal life. This honourable guy beside me is the famous Copy Ninja of the Leaf Village, Kakashi Hatake." The Uchiha said with a grin. Kakashi just shrugged at his introduction.

"Okay, how about you tell us your story?" Mari told him. Kakashi, of course, wants to gain the trust of the girls, so told them everything about him.

"So that's your story huh, I wonder, did your left eye got blind? And why do your a mask?" a certain gray haired girl said, curious of the man in question.

"No, I will tell you why, because I don't see any reason not to. Besides, you guys don't seem dangerous at all, at least not when compared to the Akatsuki and 7 Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist." He told them with slight chuckle.
"My left eye, is actually Obito's left Sharingan." Kakashi told them with seriousness in his voice as he carefully lifted his leaf forehead protector, his crimson red left eye coming into view. That revelation definitely shocked the three. They can't even comprehend how such things even happen.

"And as to why I wear a mask, I still feel uncomfortable with someone else seeing my face, it was because of my past."

"Hey, I have a question." Kakashi said.

Mari replied "What is it?"

"Can I stay here? I heard that this is a boarding school and Obito said it is good to start anew here." He said with his signature eye smile.

'WHAT A DRAG' was all they could think of.
