The view was breathtaking, albeit slightly terrifying due to my fear of heights. From our glass capsule of the London Eye, the normally deafening city seemed to slow to a stop. London had never looked so peaceful. I tore my eyes away from the scenery to glance at the others seated around me. Right across from Calum and I was the cutest couple with matching turquoise hair - Michael and Lia. Michael had his arm around Lia's shoulders, and hers around his waist. Next to them were Luke and Ashton, holding hands and leaning on each other's shoulders. The two of them had finally decided to confess their feelings to each other. About time.

Glancing back at the darkening city, my breath caught in my throat. We were nearly at the top.

"You never mentioned you were scared of heights," Calum whispered next to my ear, his arm making its way around my waist and pulling me closer towards him.  I snuggled deeper into his chest.  "Just hang on to me, I'm sorry but the next place we're going to is going to be a little bit higher than this, just so you know."

"Ugh."

We spent a few more minutes just admiring the city, while listening to 'A Thousand Years' playing softly in the background.

And at the moment there wasn't anything more I wanted in the world.

We then went to the observation deck of The Shard, and by then the sun was setting.

"It's so beautiful," I eyed at the view in awe.

"Not as beautiful as you," Calum replied.

"Stop being so cliché," I laughed.  I looked at the other 2 couples.  Lia and Michael were hugging each other, and Luke and Ashton were just holding hands.  I felt Calum grab my hand and dragged me to a corner, which had a bigger window and a better view of the city.

"I-I don't know if you think this is too soon...but I've come to terms with my feelings.  Everytime I see you I know I'm falling deeper.  I know that my heart beats for you and only for you.  I want to be with you all the time and forever, I want to hold your hand and kiss you.  I want to protect you all the time.  It's something I've never felt with anyone before.  I love you, Maya."  My heart stops, then races faster than it ever did before, as if it was going through a drop on a rollercoaster ride.  I felt chills all over my body and my eyes getting blurry.  "Nooo, I'm sorry don't cry!"

"Sorry, it's just that no one has ever felt this way about me before and I'm so overwhelmed that you, out of all people, would love me.  And I love you too, Calum."  I wrapped my arms around his neck, as he wrapped his around my waist.  I rested my head in the crook of his neck, which fit like a puzzle.  I could really get used to this.
