hues of colors,
glistening so bright.

ever so slowly,
drops of rain drizzling down.

time ticks away,
as people pass by.

the rain so loud,
my wails unheard.

I wait for someone,
to come and hold me tight.

wipe my tears away,
and tell me it's alright.

but for now,
here I stand in this rain,

my heart shattering so loud.
