Ok, so I am not a big fan of this ship, but this was a request by GayColeShippingTrash

this story takes place during
season 2 when the ninjas are stuck on the dark island, this is after lloyd tried to stop the overlord and hurt his leg, then cole trys to help him. This was an idea i was going to do with lloyd and kai, but it could work with these two as well. this story is kinda sappy so, you have been warn!😂

COLE POV:

It's been a few hours since the overlord left for our beloved ninjago, and everyone is in panic, or rather jay is in panic, the rest of us are pretty calm. At this point we're just a bunch of sitting ducks, master wu and misako are trying to come up with a plan  to get off this island, and kai is now trying to swim to ninjago "well good luck with that" I said to myself.

Lloyd's in probably the worst condition out of all of us, he's pretty beat up after his attempt to defeat the overlord along with his father. he even broke his leg, he must feel like this was his fault,  I would if I were in his position, I see him sitting on a rock, separate from the group, I went over to see if he was ok.

LLOYD POV:

This is my fault, I could of stoped him, I could of saved my father, if had just tried harder, ninjago is at stake because of me. Where the only thing going through my head, over and over. I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear someone come up behind me, then they taped my shoulder.

"ahhhh!" I sreech, falling off my rock."sorry, didn't mean to scare you" I look to see cole,holding out his hand to help me up. I blushed with embarrassment and grabbed his hand. "Nah, it's fine" I sat back on my rock and he sat down next to me. He turned to me"Everything ok?"

"Yeah everythings fine " I looked away. He huffed " you sure" He said giving me the " I know you're lying" look. I sighed "no" I feel my eyes well with tears, "well" He said, trying to get me to spit out all my problems.

"I could've stoped him cole, and now because of me ninjago is going to fall under his control, if I had just-" I choked on My words and started to cry. Cole put his arm around me " Shh it's ok, it's ok" He cooed, rubbing my shoulder gently. "Don't be so hard on yourself, no one expected the overlord to possess your father, of course you couldn't defeat him" "b-but it's my - (sniff) d-destiny " I said still crying in his chest. 

He lifed my head and our eyes meet "lloyd, this war has been going on for thousands of years, even the first spinjitzu master couldn't defeat him, so its not a surprise that you couldn't on the first try. Heck, the first spinjitzu master couldn't even on his thousandth try!" I giggled, realizing that even the first spinjitzu master wasn't perfect. But I realized something else as well, this fight was going to be harder then I thought.

COLE POV:

Lloyd finally calmed down "feeling better?" He wiped his tears "hehe, yeah" He giggled. Jay came running up to us " Hey guys, misako thinks she found a way off this island, come on" he said, waving for us to follow the other. Lloyd shot up from his sitting position to stand, only to put pressure on his aching leg.

He yipped and fell back down, growning while clutching his leg. "Why don't I carry you" I said "well I don't-" I scooped him up before he could finish.  he blushed a crimson red as I carried him bridal style to the others.

once we got there I set him down "thanks" He mumbled, still a bright glowing red. "Sure thing" I said, still helping him hobble his way to our destination." Things can only get better from here, right?" He questioned

"Yes,yes it can"

Yay, my first one shot that didn't take my a week to write😊this story was pretty cliche, but whatever. Srry it's  so short,hope you liked it😀. my next story will probably be a kailor story.
