This is a season 8/9 AU where harumi and lloyd end up together in the end, this story takes place sometime in season 9. Rumi played with lloyd's heart and felt great at first, but then realized that she did truly have feelings for him.. and now it was to late. He no longer loved her, or so she thought... also warning, I'm not good at writing fight scenes, or in third person 😅

No one's POV:

Rumi couldn't take much more of this. she tried to act as if she wanted to destroy the green ninja, but deep down she knew that she wanted nothing of the sort. She knew that she loved him, she always had. But you can't have feelings for the enemie.

The resistance was attacking the SOG headquarters. And of course leading them, was lloyd. Harumi tried to ignore him and fought with one of the others. She turned her head to see the female nindroid, alone and unarmed.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Harumi pulled out her sword. Pixal gasped and slowly backed away. " looks like the computer program doesn't have her big, strong nindroid to protect her." harumi giggled maliciously. she held the robot down and held the sword to her neck. "Any last words?" Pixal smirked slightly.

"I sure do...........EAT ICE!" The samurai threw a shuriken and Harumi's head. She dodged at the last minute, any later and she would have and a real bad head injury. pixal got up and pulled out more shurikens."Come on, now let's really fight" harumi got up and swung the sword twords the nindroid's head. Pixal blocked it with zane's shurikens. The vigorously swiped their weapons at each other, till rumi caught a glimpse of something in the corner of her eye.

She turned to see lloyd fighting one of the other bikers,  she was in awe. He almost seemed to be moving in slow motion, the way his eyes glimmered in the sun like polished emeralds, and how he paused to move his slick, blonde locks out of his face. She could feel the blush creep onto her face. She was so lost in her trans that she didn't see the shuriken hurdling twords her. a sharp pain in her side broke her trans, causing her to fall to the ground.

She was hit. She felt her side where she had been hit. it wasn't to bad, could have been worse, but it was bleeding. She could feel lloyd staring at her in shock. She clutched her side and looked up at the samurai, who was now holding rumi's own sword above her head. without a second thought she scrambled to her feet and ran, she just ran right out of the fight scene. Lloyd watched as she left the room, and soon ran after her.

~a few minutes later~

Lloyd saw rumi enter a strange room, and without her knowing quietly followed. Lloyd crepted in and hid behind some boxes. It was a strange room indeed, there were random boxes of junk everywhere. Some old filming stuff and a... grand piano (don't even ask why that's there, it's need for the story) which rumi just so happened to be sitting at. She slowly wrapped an old  bandage around her torso, she sighed to herself "why, why can't I just get over the fact that he doesn't love me anymore"

Lloyd gasped slightly "could she be talking about....me?" He could hear that she was crying, Very softly. he wanted to get up and give her a reassuring hug, but that would blow his cover. Rumi sighed heavily, she brushed her hand over the keys of the piano. still not realizing lloyd's presence, she started to play:

Lloyd felt tears stream down his face."I never knew she felt that way..." harumi hovered over the old piano for a few seconds before slamming her hands on the keyboard and bursting into tears. Lloyd couldn't bear to see her like this. he wanted to tell her how he felt so bad. lloyd moved slightly to find his way to the door, causing some boxes to crash to the ground. Harumi looked up. She gasped "lloyd!?" Lloyd cringed "welp, I'm screwed"

"How are you, why are you, how long-?" She got cut off by the sound of rapid footsteps coming twords the door, they could hear the muffled voices of the ninjas "I saw her go in here!- she's injuryed so this will be easy!-"have your weapons ready-!" They started to bust down the door.

Harumi panicked, she glanced at lloyd before jumping out an open window. "Rumi!?" Lloyd followed after her. They weren't on a very high floor of the building, so it was less then a 20 ft drop.

He finally caught up with her and found her sitting under a tree... head in her knees. Lloyd hesitated before slowly walkin twords her. She flinched when she felt a hand touch her shoulder. Turned and saw lloyd staring right at her..."wh-..what do you want.." she snuffed and pushed away his hand. "Well..." He started.."I wanted to.. apologize"

She gasped slightly.."You? Apologize to me?... huh! I'm the one who should be apologizing..i... I betrayed you, killed your friends, helped your evil father!"lloyd stared into her glimmering tear filled eyes." you have no reason to apologize...o-or to accept mine..."she began to get up but lloyd grabbed her arm.

"Wait.... but I do.. and I have done things that you have a good reason to be mad about. But if you can accept my apology to you, then I would gladly accept yours." Rumi stoped and was silent.

She turned twords lloyd, not making a peep. Then she collapsed into his arms causing him a surprise, and started sobbing. "l-l-lloyd I'm s-so -s-s..sorry!" She stuttered trough her tears. Lloyd liftee her face and parted her bangs so they could she eye to eye.

"Rumi... I forgive you...and I love you very much.. but promise me.. that you will try to do good from now on" rumi smiled warmly.. "of course... anything for you"

Cheesiest ending ever.. but I couldn't think of anything.. srry hope you enjoy it though😊
