This is a fluffy story taking place in season 1/2. its night and I'm supposed to be in bed, but I really wanted to make this sooooo.. screw it 😂

NO POV:

Kai layed in his bed, too restless to sleep. He had been worried about things, first off the serpentine were gone " which is actually pretty bad" they just disappeared. No sightings what so ever.. and garmadon hasn't been causing trouble either. "What is going on" kai though to himself.

The thought of garmadon all of the sudden made him start to think about lloyd. He hadn't been himself since he found out he was the green ninja, well not in a bad way. he hadn't been playing as many pranks as before, and he seemed to be trying to be exact helpful. Almost as if he's trying to prove "worthy" enough to be the greatest ninja of all time.

But lately he seemed.. kinda down. Kai noticed of course, but he didn't ask or bring it up. If lloyd wanted to talk, he would've said something. that didn't stop kai from worrying about him though.

Kai(who hasn't slept all night) looked at the time "1:09..ugh, I need some milk or something " kai mudered as he got up a left the room as quietly as he could, not to wake up the others.

KAI POV:

I got up to get something to help me sleep "(yawn) maybe a slice of that cake will help" I said thinking out loud. Suddenly I stop. I look to lloyd's door "which was a crack open" and could hear the faint sound of sobbing come from his room.

"I knew something was wrong " I thought as a quietly crepted to his door. I hesitated, and opened the door. I came in to see the poor kid, covered by his blanket shaking as he hicuped and sobbed "quietly enough that no one could hear unless they were right next to the door " I walked in a closed the door

Once he realized he wasn't alone, he went dead silent. he stayed very still, pretending to be sleep I guess, but I wasn't going to fall for that.

I put my hand on his head and stroked his Platinum blonde hair "lloydie?" He looked up at me. I could tell he had been crying for quite a while, his eyes were a slightly dulled green rather then their usual emerald green.

He looked at me with a sorrowed look."what wrong?" He looked down " nothing, just a bad dream.." He stuttered. "is that all?" I ask, giving him the" I know you're lying" look

He look up, tears still in his eyes. "Lloyd, I know it's something else. And don't think I haven't noticed, look if something is bothering you, you can always come to me" He fell in too my arms and broke.

The boy sobbed into my shoulder. Holding me tight and shaking vigorously. I squeezed him harder and rubbed his back in a soothing way, but that maybe the poor boy cry harder.

"Shh, its ok, it's ok sweetheart , I'm here" I cooed and slowly rocked back and forth, he slowly stoped crying and shaking, but he would hicup every so often.

We parted and our eyes meet "what's wrong? " I asked again lloyd sighed "well, I know this Is stupid, but I feel pressured about the whole, "green ninja" thing" "oh, is that all. I know how that feels, becoming the green ninja can be stressf-" "but"He interrupted me "I'm training to become the green ninja, the greatest ninja of all time, but I don't deserve any of this attention"

"What do you mean" I asked "well I released the serpentine, I did bad things, I was mean,and yet you guys take me in, and provide food and shelter for me." He continued " I always want to become my dad somday, I - I looked up to him. I thought it was my destiny "and I never really fit in a darklys, they said I wasn't "bad" enough, so I tried harder to be a bad boy. I'm terrible, why do I get such a role. He looked down, tears streamed down his face.

LLOYD POV :

I looked down so he couldn't see my tears. he was quiet, and then pulled me into a hug. I blushed profusely. "Lloyd " He said "we've all done bad things before, but we learn from are mistakes. They make us the people we are today." I sat there for a moment, then quickly huged him back.

I sat up, his hands still wrapped around me, and our eyes met. I stared into his big, hazel brown eyes. they were beautiful, how have I never noticed how beautiful his were. I felt my face heat up. I guess I must have spaced out because he looked concerned. "is something wrong?" He asked

My mouth started talking before I could think twice."oh nothing, I just never noticed how beautiful your eyes our.." I immediately realized what I just said. I looked down and mentally facepalm. argh, me and my big fat mouth. Oh no, he's gonna hate me.

I look up expecting a bad reaction. But he was blushing now too, even more then I was.

KAI POV:

"Did-did lloyd just say my eyes were..beautiful. wait am I blushing, why am I blushing!?" I was having a mini spaz attack. I could of sworn he was blushing too.., he was probably still tired from the all that crying. "Kai, It was just a compliment, pull yourself together!"

"U-umm, thanks " was all I could say. I looked back to him " you feeling better" I said, changing the subject.

"Well" He stuttered "I still feel pressured by the fact that you probably still hate me for becoming the one role you always wanted"Lloyd wimpered. I looked at him in shock "I don't hate you! And I never did. yes I was obsessed with becoming the green ninja, but what I realized that I wasn't Destined to be the green ninja.." Lloyd made eye contact with me " but to protect him..the chosen one."

He blushed and gave me a hug. "Thanks" I huged him back " you're welcome "

I looked over too the clock, " it's late and you need sleep, so we should probably go to bed now. " I started to get up only to get pulled right back. "Wait!, C-could you stay with, just until I fall asleep?" I gave a warm smile, and layed next to him

He pulled me close, cuddling into my chest. after a little while the he was fast asleep. I tried to get up, but held he me tighter. I blushed, maybe I could stay just a little longer. I kissed his forehead and stroked his blonde slightly curled hair.

I wrap an arm around him, as I slowly drifted of to sleep.

This story is so cliche😂 whatever, I just wanted to write a quick greenflame fluff. you can comment a request if you want, I'm always up for new Ideas😀
