I started this one shot awhile ago, so I thought I might as well post it now.

This is a season 1 genderbend. Based on the episode "once bitten twice shy" but jane(jay) is still a serpentine. And is hiding from her bf Noah(Nya) because she is scared of what he will think.

Noah was worried about Jane, she had been avoiding him all day and he can't figure out why. Something must've been bothering her, but then why wouldn't she tell him, she always comes to him before anyone else when she's upset.

Noah passed Claire, who was eating cake,on his way to Jane's room"
"Hey Claire? You know what's bothering Jane, I think she's avoiding me.." "hey don't look at me, she's been avoiding us as well." She said through a mouthful of cake. "She has?" "Yeah, she's been barricading herself in her room since she got back from the amusement park."

Noah put his head down "did I do something to upset her". "She won't tell us what's wrong, puts She might listen to you" Noah nodded. He came to James door, and hesitated before quietly knocking. "Jane?"

Jane, who was currently hiding under her covers, almost had a heart attack. Oh no it's Noah! What do I do, he can see me like this! He'll reject me! She didn't make a peep. "Jane I'm coming in" she heard the door creek, and then close again. She stayed very still, hoping Noah would think the bed was empty.

Noah looked around, but all the Samurai could she were a bunch of empty bunks. Hmm, I thought Claire said she was in here. as Noah was about to leave, he noticed something green in the corner of his eye.
He turned, the green something was in janes bunk. What is that, janes plushie? Wait it has scales- OMG IT JUST MOVED!

The young samurai came closer, now he could clearly see that it was... a tail? A green, scaly, serpentine tail. The tail twitched as he got closer. He could her small whimpers coming from under the lump of blankets in janes bed.

Why-why is there a serpentine in janes bed? .... unless?.. Noah took hold of the blanket and yanked it of the bed.
Noah gasped. He was now looking down at a female serpentine, shivering with fear. She stared at him with big sapphire blue eyes, he knew Those eyes anywhere. "Jane?" Jane, who was still shaking like crazy, started sobbing.

"Jane, you were bite? Why didn't you tell me?" Noah sat beside the crying snake girl and rubbed her back.
"I-I was scared of what you would say!" She sobbed harder. Noah wrapped his arm around her, she cried in his chest.

"What could I have possibly said that would scare you" she looked up at him with big sad puppy eyes, "I thought you would reject me" she managed to choke out.
"What! Why would reject you just because you were a snake?!" The girl stared at her legs. "I don't know.." she murmured "Jane?" The samurai lifted the blue ninja's chin, there eyes locked. "this wasn't your fault, and even if it was, I wouldn't reject you just for that"
She sighed " I know, I just... I really didn't know how you or the others, would react."
"They would be worried and want to help you." Noah caressed the blue ninjas cheek. " and I want you too know that I don't care whether you a ninja, or serpentine, heck I don't even care if you were an alien from Pluto!" Jane giggled and blushed a light green.
"And I don't care what you are, because you are the best you"
"But how could anyone love a disgusting creature like me-" "like this" "hu-mft!" She was interrupted by Noah pressing his lips against her's. Jane froze, and then melted into the kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. They stayed like that for what felt Like hours, and then parted.
"Dose that answer your question?" The serpentine giggled, " I don't know,......maybe you should try again" they both laughed.

Jane rested her head in Noah's chest. Noah inhaled, even as a snake her hair still had the faint scent of vanilla and honey. " I promise we'll get the antidote as soon as we can, but either way, I'll still love you.." the serpentine girl blushed. " I love you too." And they sat in silence, enjoying each other's company.
