No one's POV

*In Marinette's room*

*Sob* *Sob* Marinette couldn't control herself. Tears just rolled down her cheeks rapidly like waterfalls, they were just unstoppable. She had never had her heart broken like this before.
"Marinette," the kwami tried to comfort her with a soft voice, "please calm down."

"But I can't Tikki, I can't! You heard what he said. Ok, is understandable if he said he didn't love me but still, he said he didn't even LIKE me that much! That's even worse!" The teen screamed desperately at the innocent kwami.
"Oh, Marinette..." The cute little red kwami mumbled in pain and in guilt.
"Tikki, please! Make me feel better! Explain! Tell me that Adrien is not just a playboy and that he wasn't toying around with my feelings. Tell me his love for me was real!"
The kwami couldn't feel sorrier for her guardian. She knew Adrien was Chat Noir, she also definitely knew that he wasn't that kind of person. So why so of a sudden...
"Marinette, I'm sure there must be something, I'm sure there's an explanation for this. Don't jump into conclusions just yet..."

"No," Marinette finally stood up firmly wiping her tears away.
"This cannot be forgiven. I'm going to forget about Adrien and everyone else. From now on, love doesn't exist for Marinette Dupain-Cheng"

Adrien's POV

*At school*

"Hey, Marinette!" I greeted, a wide smile planted on my face. I'm so going to enjoy it today.
But I was shocked to see her smile back at me.
"Hi, Adrien. What's up?" She said as she placed her bag at her side and sat down, Alya looking at her weird.
"You ok, Marinette?" Alya asked as she placed the back of her hand on Marinette's forehead and the other on hers, checking her temperature.
Marinette moved her hand away and looked at her best friend.
"Of course I am, why do you ask?"
"Girl! You just talked straight to Adrien like a normal person without stuttering! In fact, you're being more casual with him than with anyone else here!"
"Oh come on! It's not that deep," Marinette said proudly as she flicked her hair to her side. I just realised. Marinette had her hair down today. This is my first time seeing her with a different hairstyle. Her dark blue ocean hair flowed around gracefully, dancing along with the wind.
The movement made her eyes stand out more, giving a strong sapphire blue colour to her eyes, and adding a light touch of rose on her cheeks, just perfect... So beautiful...
I shook my head. I can't fall for her yet, I still have to take revenge on her, I can not fall for her...
"Um, Adrien..." Then came the angelically sweet voice of Marinette. Owww she's going to make it so hard for me!

"About yesterday...." No way! So fast? Well I know I'm irresistible, but does she really like me that much, that she doesn't even care that I insulted her other half?

(Ik I'm an Adrien fan and that I'm the author, but I'm starting to hate him myself. I'm just totally changing his character, soz guys)

"Um... Can I pretend that never happened? The thing is..."

"Hey, Marinette!" Daniel came and put his stingy arm around my Marinette. "You ready to come over to my house after school? My mum's not coming home till tomorrow and we've got a lot of catching up to do," he winked.

"Oh! Yes we do," Marinette exclaimed as she had the epiphany. Daniel giggled.

"Okay, what lesson have you got last?" Daniel asked as Marinette replied to him.

"Okay, I'll go get you later so we can go together, so wait for me, kay?" He said as Marinette nodded quietly and he planted a kiss on Marinette's cheek before going to his seat.

I couldn't believe it. They actually kissed in front of my very eyes. How dare she be all lovey-dovey in front of me like that. Showing off their so-called 'love'. I can't believe she's cheating on me like that. I looked straight at her, arms crossed.

"And? Is this why you say you should be forgetting what happened yesterday?" I looked at her with a stern look.

"Everyone take your seat, and be quiet!" The strict deep purpled haired teacher commanded, trying to begin her lesson. We both sat down.

"Of course (not)" I heard Marinette whisper. I can't believe she actually confirmed her relationship with Daniel! That honestly broke my heart. Since my mother's disappearance, I had never experienced such pain.

After school, I ran out of the building to get out as fast as I could from that place. I couldn't face anyone.

Marinette's POV

"Hey, Mary!" Daniel waved from the door.

"Omg, he's so hot!" one of the girls in my class squeaked from behind me.

"Omd, are they dating?" Another one gossiped. My face flushed red at the sudden assumption.

"Of course we're not!" I shouted directly at them.

"yeah, sure, whatever," they giggled.

*At Daniel's Mansion*

"Woah! It's huge! It's even bigger than Adrien's house!" I exclaimed in awe

"What, you've been to Agreste's house before?" Daniel asked surprised. I nodded.

"Okay. Anyways, come, I'll show you my room," he said as grabbed my wrist and pulled me upstairs with him.

"Here we are!" he exclaimed as he closed the door behind him.

"Wow, your room is bigger than my bakery!" I exclaimed in excitement. But then Daniel startled me as he hugged me from behind. I sighed.

"Daniel, please," I begged as I looked over my shoulder.

"I'm the one who should be saying please. I really like you, please give me a chance." He begged back.

"I thought we agreed on just a kiss on the cheek as a greeting and nothing more," I said, trying to reason with him. But that only made him more persistent.

"I know I said that! I know! But I've become more greedy now and want more than just a peck on your cheek! You don't even kiss me on the cheek. I don't want to just feel your cheek, I want to feel your lips, your skin..." He said as he touched the areas he was mentioning and leaned closer for a kiss. But luckily, I pulled away on time.

"D-Didn't we agree to catch up on the project we didn't get to finish without Adrien?" I reminded him, trying to change the subject. Daniel just groaned and sighed in defeat.

"Fine"

* * *

"Phew, we're done!" I exclaimed in exhaustion.

"M'lady, you look the most attractive when studying," Daniel said while staring at me, but I just froze in shock.

"What d-did you say? S-Say that again" I asked with blood flowing up in the opposite direction, making my face turn pale.

Daniel looked at me confused. "I said you look most attractive when studying."

"No! Not that part," I was starting to get agitated. "The part before that!"

Daniel burst into giggles, "What? The part where I call you m'lady? Don't you like it?"

"N-No, it's not that," I tried to speak over his giggles, "it's just that, why call me that out of the blue?"

Then Daniel stopped giggling and gave me a cheeky smile instead.

"What, don't I call you that all the time, Ladybug?"
