Y/n's P.O.V~
I growled finding myself in a dead end with the men on my tail. I turned to them with a glare. There was three of them all holding guns with smirks. They were enemies of my father who was half demon and half human. They targeted me when they found out I was half demon and half human, like he was. I looked around spotting a fire escape. It was to far for an ordinary person to jump to, but with my powers I got from my father I could easily get to it. "Got cha' now girly." A man with red hair and blue eyes said with a smirk. I smirked making him furrowed his brows in confusion. "Sorry, maybe next time, darlin'." I said scaling the wall and jumping on to the fire escape. Their eyes widened at this. "Bye now!" I said with a smirk. I ran up the fire escape to the roof, while dodging bullets. After I got on the roof and out of line of fire, I sighed in releif. "Geez, just cause I'm half demon, doesn't mean ya have to chase me like a dog." I grumbled putting my hands in my pockets. I walked over to the opposite edge to see the sun setting. I smiled slightly at the beauty. I suddenly felt someone behind me, making me turn in alarm. I saw a man wearing black t-shirt, black jeans ripped at the knees tucked into black combat boots, and a leather jacket. He had dark brown hair and beautiful eyes. One was green and the other blue with the white part black. I also noticed his neck had a stitch on it. Even though he was attractive, I kept my guard up. "Who are you?!" I yelled backing away, but towards the edge. "Could ye not yell? It's Antisepticeye. But just call me Anti." The man said with an annoyed look. "Alright....what do you want?" I said with a suspicious look. "I was wondering why ye were running from those men?" He asked with a tilt of his head. "Because I'm half demon." I said bluntly. I was truthful cause I could tell he was a demon. His eyes widened at this. Before he could do anything I smirked and jumped off the edge. I used my levitating power to make a soft landing. I looked up to see him staring at me in amusement. I ran off with a smirk and wave. What I didn't expect was for him to appear beside me. I smirked and we started to race through the city.

We stopped at a park to catch our breathe. "Your pretty fast, Anti. No one has ever been able to keep up with me before." I said with a chuckle. "Well ye haven't met anyone as powerful as me." He said with a cocky smirk. I raised an eyebrow at this. "is that so? And how powerful are you exactly?" I asked with a hand on my hip. He suddenly made a green flame appear in his hand. I rolled my eyes making a purple flame in mine. His eyes widened at this. I suddenly felt a arm slide around my waist. I looked down to see a shadow arm holding my waist. I used my light powers to dispell the shadow. I smirked at him. He looked surprised at my powers. "Ye are pretty good at controlling yer powers." He said watching me. "Yea, well, when you have to protect yourself since you were 10 years old, ya kinda have to be." I said with a shrug. "What do ye mean lass?" He asked with furrowed brows. "Well when I was young it was only me and my father. All we had was each other to depend on. We couldn't even trust anyone else, they would either get hurt or they would turn on us. I had to learn how to control my powers at a young age to protect my Father. We were actually pretty happy, until we got ambushed one night." I said clenching my fists. "Ye don't have to tell me if ye don't want too." He said putting a hand on my shoulder. I noticed that action was Abit awkward, making figure he wasn't used to comforting people. I chuckled slighly, and looked up into his glowing eyes. "No, it's fine." I said with a grin. "When they ambushed us, they killed my father in front of me-" "What?! They killed a child's father in front of them?!" He yelled starting glitch. I was surprised at his angered look. I started to wonder why a stranger like him would care about happened in my past. "Because no one should witness their own father being killed in front of them." He said with angry look. "You read my mind?" I asked with a raise eyebrow. He nodded with a slight guilty look. I was about to say something, but stopped when I heard a twig snap from behind us. I whipped around in alarm to see a man with black hair in his face, and black eyes. He had a grey suit on with a red tie. I glared at him, pulling out my dagger to point at his direction in warning. "Wait, Y/n! He won't hurt ye!" Anti said stepping in front of me and putting his hand on my hand that was holding the dagger, causing me to lower it. "Then why does he have eyes like you?" I said with a suspicious look. I don't know why, but I felt like Anti was the only demon I could trust. "Were close, okay?" Anti said giving me a soft look. I glanced at the man's face to see him giving me suspicous look also. I sighed and pocketed my dagger in a belt wrapped around my black skinny jeans that were tucked into my army boots. I straightened my leather jacket that was over my black tank top that had a skull on it. "Who is he then?" I growled to Anti with crossed arms. "The name's Dark, darling." The man said with a polite smile. I squinted my eyes at him, causing my eyes to turn purple with the white turning to black. I did this to see if he was lying, but realized he was not. I changed my eyes back to normal, before shaking his out stretched hand. "Cool. My name's Y/n." I said with no emotion. "Not much of a talker huh?" He said letting my hand go with a raised eyebrow. I just shrugged and walked back to Anti's side. "Where did you find the beauty, Anti?" Dark asked with a raised eyebrow. "The lass seemed interesting so I decided to talk to her while she was on a rooftop." Anti said with a shrug. "Could you idiots, not talk like I'm not here?!" I said getting irritated. They looked at me with looks like someone caught in a cookie jar. "Sorry Princess, didn't mean to offend you or anything." Dark said with a small bow. I squinted my eyes at him. "Whatever. How do you know Anti?" I grumbled with a suspicious look. "We met a few years back. I guess you could call us roommates." Dark said with a shrug, glancing at Anti for a moment. "Okay, so why are you here?" I said relaxing slightly. "I was just checking to see if he was coming home soon. He sometimes stays out for a few nights." Dark said with a smirk. "Shut up, Dark!" I heard Anti yell angrily. "What's he do those nights?" I asked kinda curious. "Oh...I think he once said something about looking for a girl with y/h/c hair and e/c eyes that was a half demon. Sound familiar?" Dark said with a smirk. My eyes widened at this causing me to look at Anti. "You were looking for me?" I asked him in surprise. "Look before I say anything, I never wanted to hurt ye or anything. I wasn't looking for ye for just yer pow-" "Seriously?! You too?!" I yelled backing away from them with a betrayed look. Darks smirk started to falter in guilt. Anti panicked seeing me move away looking like a heartbroken girl from her Ex. "Wait Y/n!" He yelled going to grab my hand, but I dodged him. "Go away...I shouldn't have told you anything. Your like the rest of them...greedy." I growled glaring at them both. I ran past Dark and down the sidewalk. I felt like an idiot for feeling I could trust Anti. He was just another demon wanting my powers for himself. I realized I had tears running down my face, but just ignored it, as I ran super speed through the city.
